I thought it was nice that they had some activities and events in the hotel. They had a lei making class which was reasonably priced and even local artisans that came in and sold their wares. Different food options, food trucks, and grocery store are all within walking distance. (Favorite quick eats was Paradiso pizza and the $2 masubi you can get at the local grocery store. The hotel also has a dvd rental service that you can utilize as many times as you'd like. This was nice because after a full day of exploring, we were able to relax in the evening with a movie. The best food we had by far was at Star Noodle. FYI, if you plan to go to a nice sit down resturant you have to put reservations in early. Lastly the beach is beautiful! The only negative I would say is their snorkeling gear is wack. đ Don't waste your money on them.
Loved all the amenities of the property. The 2 pools, the restaurant and bar, the room and the view were all great. The only downside was the accuracy of the online listing. An upgraded room with stainless steel appliances are shown first in the listing. A standard room is also shown later in the listing. So you really donât know what type of room youâre getting until you open the door. Both are nice, but if you only looked at the first couple of pics, youâre lead to believe that you are getting the room with the upgraded kitchen.
The resort is beautiful. My only complaints are that the bed is very hard. Also, more amenities could be included in the resort fee. Other places had a free shuttle to town, boogie boards/coolers for free to use, and condiments for cooking. Other than that had a great stay!
Management has the right to assign you an alternate, similar room upon arrival. Our unit was not even close to the unit shown in these pictures. It was a one bedroom in the same complex, however, unlike the unit pictured it was not updated and was bordering on the shabby side. We are used to condos. Despite the kitchen, this is a hotel not a condo. We will not stay here again.
