MARCH/APRIL SPECIAL! Whale Watching From Your Oceanfront Lanai! No Resort Fees!

Aloha! No Resort Fee! Come stay in our ground floor (F Building), truly oceanfront condo. Sit and relax while enjoying an absolutely stunning view of the ocean as well as nearby islands from your private lanai. Our beautiful, modern condo has a fully equipped kitchen, rich cabinets, white quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, Keurig Coffee Brewer, Mr. Coffee, washer/dryer suite, small kitchen appliances and a beautiful bathroom with a walk-in shower.

We provide binoculars, a Smart HDTV in the living room as well as a flatscreen HDTV in the bedroom, Blu-Ray DVD player, Pak-n-Play and an in-room safe to accommodate a laptop. We triple sheet the king size bed in the bedroom and provide a queen sofa sleeper in the living room.

The beautiful Papakea Resort Oceanfront Property is a short walk to restaurants and shopping in the Kaanapali area of Maui. It has wonderful, expansive tropical gardens and ponds. The amenities include 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, lighted tennis courts, pickle ball courts, 2 shuffleboards, 2 putting greens, 12 gas barbecues, picnic areas, free WIFI access, free local calls, cornhole, lei making every Saturday, Mai Tai party every Thursday with local musician and hula, putting tournaments on Sunday, yoga and swimmercize classes. Complimentary use of putters, tennis and pickle ball rackets can be checked out at the front desk. There is a large supermarket across the street from Papakea Resort.

Our 5 night stay at Papakia in was exceptional. I have stayed at this resort a number of times and this was by far the best experience for a number of reasons. Location- what’s not to love about a ground floor ocean facing condo steps away from the water. Convenience- the condo is was also the closest proximity, ( 30 sec walk) in reality you can get to the pool , BBQ and hot tub area, and no- noise was not a problem at all. The condo was modern and well equipped with all you would expect. What I also like about this building and the location of the unit is that it’s a straight shot to the reception and parking area, makes a big difference when your carting groceries and luggage etc.. BTW Papakia does have plenty of trollies available to assist.Our host was a superb communicator, it was very helpful when I had questions etc.Oh, and being on the bottom floor was not a hindrance in any way from a noise standpoint- the complex in general is peaceful and quiet but I might also mention there was really zero noise from any of the above floors. I would highly recommend the Papakia report and particularly this unit, spend the extra money for this unit, you will not be sorry.

The lanai is about 100ft to the ocean. The resort has a sea wall that is about 10’ high. The ability to walk out of the living room directly to that view was fantastic. We stayed 10 days in January 2026. The condo was well stocked with kitchen essentials and the consumable supplies did not run out. There were beach towels (4 for 2 people), beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel equipment, binoculars, and putters(& balls) for the onsite greens. We only used the binocs and putters, but all the other things were available. There was a standard hotel room safe in the bedroom closet. We cooked on the resort grills several times. They were all 4 burner Webers and all in great condition with clean grates each time I used them.We saw many whales from the lanai & grassy area. They were several miles out, but you can see the & it’s a fun/unique experience. Great place, very relaxing.

Incredible location for our anniversary trip. Close enough to anything you could need but also still peaceful and quiet. We discovered the shortcut to the ABC market on the first day and it was a game changer. Also loved the food truck park and the cinnamon bun place. Excellent food all around! The view was amazing to wake up to everyday. Easy walk to the beach. No noise from the pool. Only cons were the long walk from the parking lot/cars which could complicate things if you are coming with a big family and lots of stuff, and on our last 2 days there was construction happening in the condo above ours. Otherwise, this was the perfect stay! Will definitely be back!

Wake up to the whales!

We loved our stay! What a treat it was to open the shades each morning to an unobstructed view of the ocean. It truly is breathtaking. We also saw multiple whale breaches while sitting on the patio drinking our coffee. The Papakea property is lovely and has everything you need: a pool, hot tub and outdoor grill access. We will absolutely be back! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great location!

We really had a great time and loved the condo. The view was amazing. It was so nice to have our coffee ocean front every morning. My husband said the snorkeling right out back was so good, he don’t need to book a snorkeling tour! The property is beautiful and well maintained. There are many things to do and places to go, all within walking distance. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub too.

Highly recommend!

We fell in love with the location. Right in the sea wall and spent most of our afternoons laying out. We were able to spot turtles and whales from the patio (even walked out and snorkeled with the turtles right there with host provided snorkel gear!). It’s not a crowded facility, mostly retirees and a few families. We made great use of the kitchen as well as the resort provided grills. Would definitely consider rebooking if/when back on Maui.

Beautiful oceanfront condo! We had a great time. The grounds, pools, ocean, sunsets were perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, Whalers Village to shop was an easy walk for us, so much to see along the way.

Location, location

This condo is located on the ocean front, convenient to both swimming pool areas, and on the ground floor so you can walk directly out to the seawall. Condo was well equipped and vacation comfortable. We had to reset the Wi-fi router a few times and we had trouble with the TV, but we didn’t make any attempt to seek help with the television, so it is not a negative reflection on the condo. The rebuild in nearby Lahaina is both heartbreaking and inspiring. West Maui is vibrant and there are plenty of dining, shopping, and opportunities for guided excursions in the area. We highly recommend this condo and will stay here again on our next trip to Maui.

Papakea is an amazing property, is our third time staying there and have never left disappointed. Our washing machine did not work in our unit and repair men couldn’t get to it while we were there, but a little hand washing and it didn’t really affect anything. The unit was great, the amenities were on point. We absolutely love Papakea and will definitely return again.

Perfect!

This was our 2nd time staying in this home, and it was perfect yet again. The view is absolutely amazing, STUNNING! You can’t beat it. The location is great, the amenities are great, the staff are wonderful. I highly recommend!

I’m a returning guest- I love this condo that is well maintained and has everything you need! Step out to the breathtaking views of the ocean, watch the turtles swim by and enjoy the sunsets in your own private place. Can’t wait to return.

Comfortable & Great Views

Check in was easy and staff was friendly. Being on the ground floor facing the ocean was perfect! We stayed during April so we had plenty of whale watching from the patio which was so nice especially while my son took a nap. There is both a coffee maker and a keurig so that made it simple. The kitchen amenities were great for cooking in the unit but there are also grills on site available. Wish we could have stayed longer!
