Newly remodeled with a clean, Scandinavian aesthetic, this 550 sq ft cabin feels open, calm, and intentionally designed.

Vaulted ceilings and oversized windows bring the outdoors in, filling the space with natural light and lake views. Every detail is curated for comfort without clutter.

Great cabin for our week of snow shoeing the CAMBA trails. Centrally located. Close to the Sawmill Saloon for great food.The cabin was warm, bed and shower were great! Kitchen is well stocked. FYI-Coffee pot is not a Kuerig. Had one question of the Host and she got back to us right away. Will most likely come back next year.

The cabin was very clean and well appointed. It was perfect for me, spouse, and dog and the area was lovely in the fall. The only surprise was how close the neighboring properties were; however the lake only has about 10 properties so I expect it would still feel quiet even if everyone was there.

Little Sisu was a cute and cozy cabin for a girls getaway. It had everything needed and it was very peaceful and quiet property and lake. We could not find the tennis courts that were in the listing.

This was the perfect cabin for peaceful getaway. It was spotless and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed. The lake was quiet and the beach was a quick paddle away. We even saw loons and swans. The owners were easy to work with and went above and beyond to manage a small issue we had. We would love to return in the future.

Great little cabin

Came up here with my dog for some time to disconnect, hang out, and do some fishing. Very cute, clean cabin with all the necessities. Our stay was very quiet and relaxing.Lots of little panfish right off the dock (and somehow I also reeled in a catfish?) along with a few larger ones. Great for some catch-and-release fishing.It was a little too windy and rainy to light up the campfire but the host does provide firewood on site which I thought was great.10/10 would stay again

Just what we needed

My husband and I wanted someplace that we could decompress for a few days and maybe do some cross-country skiing. Little Sisu was just what we were looking for. The cabin was easy to find and check-in was smooth. The cabin is beautifully appointed, cozy, and super clean. Perfect for the two of us. We didn’t get any skiing in, but we did walk around out on the lake, explored Hayward, watched a few movies, and enjoyed our respite from the outside world. We’re hoping to visit again in the summer. Highly recommend.

Peaceful Stay

What a great little cabin to get away after all the holiday stress! The view of the lake out the window is perfect and although you could see neighboring cabins when you went outside, it felt like you were all alone. Very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed going out on the ice and exploring nearby trails. Our dog loved watching the deer that came by every day. Everything you could possibly need, very clean, and easy check-in/out. Would definitely recommend for a couples getaway.

Perfect winter escape

Beautiful spot to hole up for a few days in the winter. The property was perfectly designed for us two and our dog. Communication was excellent with Jesse helping quickly solve an A/C issue. Everything was exceptional. Highly recommend!

Nice, simply styled cabin

Stayed with my wife and dog over the thanksgiving holiday. Loved the simple Nordic styling. Great location, walk to the sawmill saloon and access to cycling trails. Only things that could maybe be improved are the bathroom door not having a handle to really grab onto to open close. And only having 1 dish town and hand towel.

Relaxing, Quiet Getaway

My husband and I plus our dog stayed for 5 nights at Little Sisu last week. The property is exactly as described and was sparking clean. The dock on the lake and firepit areas were fantastic to hang out in, and we appreciated the included canoe and kayak. It's a small, calm lake perfect for casual paddlers like us. I would highly recommend if you're looking for a solo or couples trip to unplug and relax.

All we needed was provided and we were able to bring our 4-legged Ginger dog with us. The lake is so sweet and we enjoyed the canoe and beach. Comfort all around!

Wishing for more privacy

The house is fine, especially if you have dogs because there was a slight dog smell (they allow up to 2 dogs in this tiny space). It's also right next to another house with no visual barrier. The boats were great, and the lake is very quiet. We read there were bass and pike in the lake, but there only appear to be bluegill that are mostly very small. It's not really a fishing lake ...
