Overall, the property was beautiful. However, we had an issue with black beetles in our restroom. I notified the front desk after killing three of them myself and all they did was spray a menthol cleaning agent around the tub. In the morning, I woke up to five or six of them under the bathmat. This ruined room as I am deadly terrified of bugs. At checkout, I did let them know about this and they comped my parking which I feel was an understatement considering what an inconvenience it was to smash black bugs all night. Sad to say that I was not very comfortable.

Got no assistance with 2 large heavy suitcases upon arrival to the resort in my rental car. Was ignored and then asked to move my suitcases out of the way so the wedding guests could get by. Requested rides from our room to the front of the resort and it never came after waiting 20 minutes

Property itself is fantastic, especially the pool and rooms. However, the restaurant is….really not good. We’ve been to this property twice and we disappointed both times in the restaurant. Someone in our party ordered something for dinner that had a very bad, chemical-y taste. Such a shame, as a good restaurant would elevate this to one of the best places to stay in wine country.

The Montage is such a stunning and blissful place to stay in wine country! The service and people were always very nice. Upon arrival, they greeted us with a "splash" of welcome wine and drove us to our room via golf cart. The rooms are beautifully appointed...ours had a vineyard view with a fire pit on the patio to enjoy the gorgeous wine country sunsets! The resort has great amenities, including free use of e-bikes (2 hrs each day, then you pay $30/bike/hr beyond that). The gentleman who loaned us the bikes was very helpful and directed us to a lovely ride up Dry Creek, this was a highlight of our trip. We also had the opportunity to dine at Hazel Hill, which was very good. The views of the property from the patio at the restaurant are lovely. Literally the only issue we encountered was pretty consistent long waits at valet to grab our car, despite requesting via text in advance. The team was always super friendly and apologetic, but something seems like it's not quite humming with their process. The property is also a haven for wildlife, with birds, foxes, owls, deer and turkeys (heard them every morning) wandering around. We even had a baby deer literally lounging next to our window every day! We had a magical trip and would highly recommend the Montage!

Everything 5 star, except the shuttle and bell. Karo our server at the pool was amazing! 1 star for bell and shuttle. 25 minutes for your car, 30 minutes to get to your room and left us for 40 minutes waiting for bell and a ride to the lodge.
