Spend a relaxing holiday in the holiday resort of Hechthausen, in beautiful Cuxland. The holiday home is located in a traffic-calmed side street, between meadows and a small forest, somewhat away from mass tourism. The furnishings are cosy and more than just functional. The house was renovated in May 2020. There is now a large flat-screen TV in the living room and in the children's room and bedroom.

The beautiful garden invites you to linger and relax. You can end the evening in the open conservatory/covered terrace.
On cooler days, you can make yourself cosy in front of the wood-burning stove.
A fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave etc. is available for self-catering.
The newly renovated bathroom is equipped with a bath and shower. You can park right outside the front door. The plot size is approx. 300 square metres.
Of course, the holiday home has Internet access, which you can use free of charge, as well as a landline connection which can also be used free of charge for calls to the German landline network. Calls to mobile phones or abroad are not permitted.
Other facilities: washing machine, TV/SAT, CD, dishwasher, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, garden furniture, barbecue (deposit required). Our guests appreciate the extensive facilities.

Insider tip for a day at the beach: Drive to Krautsand (approx. 30 km) with a sandy beach and a tidal range of 2.80 m. The Oste landscape with its idyllic river course is ideal for discovery tours. A varied landscape with unspoilt moorland, elongated Geest hills, pretty villages and marshland. Whether in summer or in the cooler months of the year, the area offers nature lovers plenty of variety. Enjoy long walks or cycle tours in the healthy sea climate.

3 bedrooms, one of which has a double bed. One bedroom with 2 single beds, bedroom 3 with bunk bed and extra bed, a wood-burning stove in the living room provides cosy warmth even in the transitional period, the kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, 4 hobs, oven, microwave, coffee machine (filter). A freezer for pizza or similar is located in the utility room. There you will also find a hoover, clothes horse, etc. The garden faces south and is for your exclusive use. There is a small (decorative) pond, approx. 1.5 square metres on the property. No tourist tax obligation. Internet access WLAN free of charge, telephone calls to German landlines free of charge. We prefer contactless check-in and check-out. You will receive the keys after telephone consultation. Please bring your own bed linen and towels, we prefer or rent them. Car parking space, TV/Sat, use of washing machine included in the price.

Terrace and garden furniture are available.

Heating costs, water costs, electricity costs will be charged and are to be paid in cash. Please note: Pre-heating costs in winter will be charged. Wood for the stove is to be provided by yourself, for example at the DIY store. If your holiday does not exceed 3 weeks, the lawn will not be mowed during this time. We will mow the lawn by arrangement. However, we will have to go through the flat into the garden. We ask for your understanding in this case. There is no way into the garden area from outside.

The holiday resort of Hechthausen is idyllically situated on the Oste, a tributary of the Elbe - almost in the middle between Hamburg and Cuxhaven. The ideal starting point for anglers, cyclists and nature lovers who want to escape mass tourism. Shopping facilities, restaurants and cafés are located approx. one kilometre from the bungalow. The Elbe beaches or the North Sea beaches in Cuxhaven or the North Sea resort of Otterndorf are ideal for a day at the beach. The journey time is 30 to 45 minutes - depending on the destination. Popular excursion destinations for families with children are the Wingster Zoo, sports and play park and the indoor and outdoor swimming pool with giant slide in Wingst.
