Had to change rooms as the first one smelt bad, second room was good. Space was ok, it was close to the railway station, and you could get a bus into the old town too.

My daughter and I stayed for several nights while attending a conference that was hosted in the downstairs conference room. Being adjacent to the Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof, trains to points of interest such as Speyer and Frankfurt and busses and trams to old town Heidelberg were very convenient. We do recommend requesting a room on the opposite side of the hotel as the train tracks because regular passenger service and accompanying PA announcements are incessant from 0500-2400 and then the freight trains take over. The windows are well insulated for sound, but due to the noise (which is to be expected next to a train station), could not be used for ventilation while wanting to sleep. Also, there is an apparently a switch associated with the windows and the air conditioning. A sign informs the tenant that the windows must be closed for the air conditioning to work, but does not inform the user which handle position (out of three) on the window is "closed," so it took us a while to figure out how to configure the windows to cool the room during the warm sunny days of our stay. The above are not complaints, but intended as observations for future visitors. Also, be certain to sign up for the hotel chain's "H Rewards" program to get free local bus and tram day passes.

Hotel is conveniently located next to the train station and area is very walkable. Didn't interact much with staff, as I did a self check-in/out. Rooms a nice and very clean. Housekeeping is only by request, which I didn't mind. Didn't use the amenities. For the price and location, I would stay with them again in a heartbeat.

The hotel was very clean and modern. Our room was spacious with a great shower, lots of outlets, a mini fridge and a tv with a chrome cast. The hotel provided a free transit day pass as well which was great because it is located right by the bus/train station.

I don’t even know why they have a staff because you have to do everything on a kiosk in the lobby. I didn’t feel safe by punching in all my important numbers right there so we could walk up behind me and steal my numbers my phone number, my birth date, etc. the kiosk spit out your key card , so I didn’t really interact with the personnel at all When I ask them a question they seemed bothered

Very close to the station

Our first room was on the train track side and if the window was closed you couldn't hear the trains, but we had to leave the window open because it was hot and the AC wasn't working in the hotel. They did graciously move us to the other side of the hotel where it was much quieter and cooler.

The hotel is very nice but definitely a business hotel. At check in I was directed to a self service machine despite 2 staff members being available. The rooms are also not serviced unless requested. The room was very hot as the outside temperature was between 10-18 degrees which meant the windows needed to stay open. Being alongside the train station, this meant constant announcements were very loud.
