Eagle Rest - Warm and Inviting Cabin in the Woods

Welcome to your new home away from home! Before entering Eagle Rest, you are greeted with the laid back atmosphere of the rocking chair front porch. Your vacation starts here!

The warmth of the wood floors, walls and ceilings immediately invite you in to rest and relax. Snuggle on the leather coach for movie night or curl up in a chair with a good book. The rock faced gas fireplace makes those winter months even more cozy with a flickering fire.

The fully equipped kitchen is open to the living room and dining area, making it so that no one is left out of the conversation and good times! Besides the glass top stove and bottom drawer freezer, there is an ice maker and dishwasher. The cabinets are well stocked with all the dinnerware, glassware and coffee cups you will need. Small appliances include a toaster, microwave and coffee maker.

The screened porch offers another sitting area with wicker chairs, love seat and tables. Listen to the birds both day and night from your perch in the woods. There is another dining table on the same porch with an elegant outdoor chandelier. Just outside the screened porch is a bistro table set for two and the gas grill.

The guest queen bedroom looks out over the front porch with a bathroom just one door down the hall. Here, you will find a walk-in shower and vanity. The master queen bedroom, located off the living room, has a television and private bath. In this bath is a shower/tub combination and vanity.

• Minimum Age Requirement: Eagle Rest is available to families or to guests 21 years and older.
• Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.
• Access: The road is paved to the gravel driveway.
• Pets: Eagle Rest is Not pet friendly. No pets allowed.
• Location: 9 miles to downtown Helen

Great cabin, incredibly clean. Amenities were nice. Very little kitchen utensils and poor excuse of a furnished kitchen, didnt matter to us too much as we ate out primarily.

A perfect fall getaway

Wonderful, secluded cabin close to Helen but far enough away from the crowds and traffic. Cabin was well equipped with essentials and was exactly as stated in photos and description. The property management company was the best we've ever had. Wonderful communication and timely emails made the check in and out process seamless.

Excellent secluded property

Property was clean, well-maintained and beautiful! Beds were comfortable. Checkin/checkout was seamless. Only downsides were 1) nonfunctioning fireplace and 2) that property management company advertised a free night with undisclosed stipulations, so we did not get the free night.

Over needed get-a-way

This property is amazing. Peaceful, quiet, off the main roads with all the tranquility you can ask for. From the beautiful ceilings when you first walk in, to the stunning fireplace, wrap around porch and only six miles to Helen GA. where we ate the BEST German food at Hofers Bakery an Cafe. Lot’s of Christmas vendors for opening wknd. We couldn’t have planned or asked for a better place to stay. I highly recommend this property. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Such a beautiful cabin!!

When my girlfriend and I pulled up this cabin we actually couldn't believe how beautiful it was.. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely choose this place again for future getaways!!

Secluded Area! Very Peaceful!

We stayed here at the end of October 2022. It's a very secluded cabin, but it's away from all the noise and craziness of Helen, Georgia. I enjoy the peacefulness and the seclusion, especially after a day of hiking and Octoberfest activities. The cabin is very clean and check in was very very easy. The cabin is also large enough to bring in an air mattress for the downstairs area for a couple to sleep. We didn't really use the downstairs area for anything, except the washing machine. The two beds on the main flower were rather small and uncomfortable, but if you bring bedding from home as we did, if helps out. There aren't any extra pillows for the beds, so as I stated, bringing our own was a plus. The porch area is relaxing, but there was not propane in the grill for grilling. Also, a fire pit outdoors would have been wonderful for the fall evenings! The water pressure was not very good for showers, but I did notice the downstairs shower did have better pressure on our last day. Besides the small things mentioned, I truly enjoyed staying there! The management team were very nice and kept checking on us.

Quite Cabin in the woods.

Five Stars! One of the best cabins we have rented. Great location, easy access. The property manager was also five stars. When we check in the cabin, we did not have power (local outage). I called the property manager, and they told us it would be fixed soon. It was. Then we did not have water, I called the property manager again. They had someone on site in 30 min. They found the problem that was caused by the power outage, and we had water. Great Cabin, great support by the property management team.

Quick get away close to Atlanta

Cabin larger than expected with downstairs area. Paved roads all the way to the cabin. Wonderful screened porch with ceiling fans and dining table as well as large covered porch. At the end of the road so there was almost no traffic. Yet easy drive to Helen and Clarksville to restaurants. Management very responsive to questions

Vaca getaway

My second year in Georgia for vacation and love the scenery. This cabinet is a beautiful place and plenty of room very cozy. Hopefully I'll be able to rent again for our annual 4th of july vacations.
