The hotel was located right next to the train station, which was very convenient. However, I accidentally exited on the opposite side of the station and got a bit lost. It would have been helpful if the check-in email had included a map or directions. The room was generally clean, but I noticed some pet hair and human hair on the bed sheets, which concerned me. I also didn’t realize the hotel was pet-friendly, and since I have allergies, I would have preferred to know this in advance so I could have chosen differently. Although there was no staff at reception, the self check-in process with the code and tablet at the entrance worked smoothly. The kitchen in the room was useful, but it didn’t include basic seasonings like salt or pepper, which made cooking a little difficult. Having a shared space with condiments would have been very helpful. After taking a shower, I realized there was no hairdryer in the room. Later I found out from Google Maps reviews that it could be borrowed from a rental box in the hallway. There was also an information sheet in the room explaining this, but it contained a lot of details, so it was easy to miss. I stayed for two nights. The train noise was noticeable at times, but overall it wasn’t a major issue. Considering the cleanliness and the convenient location near the station, my stay was comfortable and I had no significant problems.

Noli Malmi Studio Apartments are in a fantastic location, right by Malmi bus and train stations — you can see the building as soon as you exit. It’s about 15 minutes from Helsinki Airport and under 20 minutes to the city centre, with an easy €3.20 Zone B & C train ticket. A shopping mall and smaller shops nearby make it convenient for groceries and essentials. The studio was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of cupboard space, a comfortable armchair, a table with two chairs, and a small kitchenette. The bed was extremely comfortable with excellent quality linen. Amenities included Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a fridge with freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, two-plate hob, and an oven that also works as a microwave. While there’s no TV, I didn’t find this a problem. A nice touch was the communal fridge downstairs stocked with free milk and coffee. The only disappointment was with the VIP Access booking. I had hoped for a room upgrade since I didn’t need parking, but management never responded to my check-in survey. I understand upgrades aren’t guaranteed, but an explanation would have been appreciated. Overall, though, Noli Malmi is a lovely place to stay and fairly priced considering how expensive Helsinki can be. I’d happily recommend it, with the small note that the VIP Access benefits could be better handled.

A very efficiently run apartment hotel. Check in and check out was totally self serviced. Hotel communication for the check in instructions came a week in advance. The room was fully equipped with washing machine and dish washer. The common area has a pool table and many games. There is also a common kitchen area which smells stuffy and not cleaned after use. The allocated room has very high ceiling, two beds were placed in the mezzanine level which is accessible by a very steep staircase. It was unclear how to operate the air conditioning in the room, no instructions were available. No staff was on site at the stated operating time to offer any help. It was very hot in the room and I didn't sleep well.

Signs of neglect already.

The windows that open break easily and aren’t being repaired properly. The outside of the hotel is not being looked after properly. The garden needs attention and the hard surfaces are not being cleaned, in particular the steps that lead down between the two buildings. The iPads being used for check-in or not in a good condition either. Otherwise, the hotel is good and the location very convenient for me.

Excellent studio for a quick visit or longer stay

Conveniently located studio hotel offering all the basic necessities for an overnight stay. The room had enough space, it was well cleaned and had everything necessary for cooking breakfast and evening snack. Would have for warm meals as well, but those were not necessary for me. Excellent sauna / spa area and safe storage for a bike. Only one small minus for a bit too soft pillows for my liking.

Good experience. Trainstop just round the corner - 20 Min to/from airport and city ofHelsinki. 2 minor things: the window shades could not be moved up and the toilet seat was mot fixed well

I had a nice stay, but was slightly disappointed at the level of cleanliness. There was a lot of dust, f ex next to the bed/bedlight. Also the elevators smelled disgusting. I entered thru a side door and couldn't find the check in since there is 0 signs, it is just expected that everyone enters thru the same door. But the signs would be nice also for some people who are not that great at orienteering
