- NOTE: Depending on the lake level, our portion of Kerr Lake is often cut off from the main part of the lake by Nutbush bridge. It keeps our portion of the lake quiet and peaceful. There are still three long fingers of the lake to ski, boat, fish and swim in addition to the open area in front of the property. There are boat ramps on both sides of Nutbush bridge, approximately 1 mile from the house

Amazing property

Very nice home on quiet cul-de-sac with a great view of the lake from the screened in porch or the private dock. Well furnished, clean and comfortable. Host was very responsive. Definitely did not disappoint from the description. Will definitely consider booking again.

Fantastic Home on Kerr Lake

I would give the home and the hosts 20 stars if possible. The place was fantastic, well appointed and stocked. Everything was spotlessly clean. The view of Kerr Lake was fabulous, and the sunsets... wow. My wife and I were completely pleased. The hosts were great to work with, fantastic communication and they were very accommodating for our need to slip the reservation a day due to a snow storm in the area. I would highly recommend this rental.

Better than you can imagine!

This house was beyond our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice. Literally! Our whole family was lake struck with excitement and gorgeous weather and views. It felt like we were getting so much than we could have imagined. The house was cleaned, the house was beautiful and quiet. The host was wonderful with the different amenities that came with the place(snacks, ice in ice maker ready for drinks, throw blankets, etc.). This is definitely a spot that you don't want to miss pass up.

Last min getaway

Wow. This house was perfect. Excellent location and lot. Very well stocked. Booked as a last minute get away and it was worth it. Very clean and the welcome basket was a very nice touch. Hope we can book again during the summer so we can enjoy the whole lake. Even though it was a little chilly and rainy we still had a good time. Will diffidently save this in my favorites.

Our Happy Place 😊

We love this home so much we call it our “Happy Place”! Great location away from the lake crowds and great people to deal with to rent. Kids love to fish off the dock and kayak without worrying about a boat speeding by. The house is always clean and the owners are always available to ask questions, if needed. Also, if you love to fish check out Double Up Strippers! The captains put us right on the fish and was a highlight for our kids trip!

True peace and quiet

Due to nutbush bridge this property is cut off from the larger area of the lake, which come to find out is a blessing in disguise. Everyday we felt like the only people on the lake. We ran into boat issues (my boat) and Amanda was so kind to allow us to borrow a kayak and SUP to keep us occupied. We saw a bald eagle and osprey from the dock as well. Really nice neighbors too.

Beautiful Home & Gorgeous View

Although we had a quick weekend on the property, the home was just as described and comfortable. We enjoyed the kitchen being well taken care of as far as pans, utensils and dishes. The home was very clean which was definitely appreciated. The screened-in porch on the back of the house was absolutely wonderful. We had coffee and breakfast out there every morning. My only recommendation is to allow guests to leave at 11:00 am instead of 10:00 am. It was a bit challenging to get everyone going and get the house in order before we left at 10:00 am. An extra hour would have been helpful. I would definitely go back again. Thank you to the hosts.

Overall our family's experience was comfortable and relaxing, which was exactly our goal for a few days away during school Spring Break. The home location and view of Kerr Lake was as beautiful as shown in the listing. The home was very clean and well-equipped. Thinking the lake and weather would be too cold, we did not avail ourselves of the water toys (kayaks, etc.) -- a mistake on our part. We hope to rent there again and correct that! We encountered some very minor early-in-the-season issues. The grill needed cleaning and the screen porch was covered in pollen (common for April here). Kudos to the owner and the cleaning crew for fixing that in less than 2 hrs! Contractors and yard clean-up on nearby properties were a bit noisy, but that was mostly unlucky timing, to be fair. This was our first experience with a VRBO. I have to thank the owner for being helpful and very responsive to our questions, and for.making the experience easy.
