To book, navigate to vrbo.com\4455449. Serenade Shores is a newer home on 4+ acres overlooking a privately owned pond. Our newest addition is a floating dock! The location is 10 minutes from the entrance to Pisgah National Forest and 12 minutes from Dupont State Forest: a perfect jumping off spot for hikers, mountain bikers, fishermen, kayakers and anyone who enjoys the outdoors. We are also located just minutes from three boat launches on the French Broad River. If you need to work, we have high-speed cable wi-fi. We also have streaming cable TV via Comporium and FireStick. There are three smart TV's - one in the living room and one in each main level bedroom. The home has an open floor plan with plenty of south facing windows to take in the pond view and winter mountain and river views. There is a stone gas fireplace for chilly nights and a gas grill on the wide covered porch. There are two bedrooms with king-sized beds on the main level, each with a full bath (one is private and one opens to the laundry/mudroom) as well as a loft with a queen-sized bed and a full-sized Serta foldout sleeper loveseat (very comfortable with no bar). The finishes include oak and tile floors, stainless steel appliances (oven/range is gas), and granite countertops in the kitchen and baths. Wonderful weekend getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay, enjoyed the fishing and the fire pit. Chris and Coleen are wonderful to work with. Enjoyed sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs just relaxing.

Great weekend getaway

We had a great weekend at the house. Very relaxing area and quiet. Beautiful land. The pond was great and our kids enjoyed fishing (they caught a few bass and tons of bluegills). The house was in great shape, very clean, and stocked with all the supplies we needed.

Secluded cabin close to everything

The cabin was very clean and so was the property. The private lake was great for light fishing and the trail around the lake is perfect for a small hike. We would rent this cabin again in a heartbeat. Thanks Colleen!

We stayed at Serenade Shores for 5 nights, 20-25 October 2025, and had a great time. The location is very convenient and while staying there we took a number of day trips. We went to Lake Junaluska, Brevard, Hendersonville, and Greenville South Carolina. We had a lot of great food including some top bakery. The home was very comfortable with 2 master suites, bathrooms in suite. We very much enjoyed “Porch Therapy” in the evenings and woke up to misty mountain mornings. Colleen was a superb host who was very responsive when we had text communication. Serenade Shores was a 5 Star experience for us in every way! This was our second visit and we plan to come again!

Wonderful stay

This is our second time to this property. We love the location and amenities. The surroundings are so peaceful! We visited nearby towns and wineries. Everything was open for business and people really appreciated our patronage. The property has so many nice touches and comforts! Check in and check out were a breeze. We will be back!

Great stay

This place in an awesome little oasis just outside of Brevard, and a short drive to Hendersonville. Super close to many of the trails in DuPont Park. Very nice place with many of the little things you don’t often find: lots of dish towels, plenty of TP & paper towels, shampoo & conditioner. There were even dog bowls in the pantry.

3rd Stay

This was our third time staying at this property. We keep coming back because it encompasses everything we are looking for; beautiful & clean home, fully stocked kitchen appliances and the most amazing outdoor space.
