This hotel was a great choice for us. It is right on the night market road and is next door to a 7-11. It is a short walk away from the Little Bay beach and the other main beach in Kenting. We could not have been happier with the location. The room itself was nice and clean and had great air conditioning. Some of the paint had a little water damage but nothing was big enough to be a hinderance on our stay. The balcony was small but enclosed so there were no bugs which was nice. Parking was located across the street and the hotel provided us with a discounted daily rate for parking at the lot for 200NT (compared to other lots which charged 400-600NT fees). We were with our 2 year old son and he had a great time in the room and had no problem sleeping or playing here. We had a great time and would consider staying here again. Thanks!

Cheap, conveniently located hotel

Booked two quad rooms, but they were very different in size. One was large..almost too large, and the other was a bit small for a quadruple room. There's no elevator so be prepared to drag your luggage up the stairs. Room comes with pretty much all the things you'd expect. I did not like the one time use, shampoo packets. Shower is open so your bathroom floor will be mostly wet after. It makes the floor slippery inside bathroom and right outside. Beds were comfortable enough. There's a bus from Zhouying station that drops you off very close to the hotel. It's a similar walk to the stop that takes you back to the station. It's located right on the main street although more towards the end, but you'll still be able to walk outside at night and have food stands right there. Tip: Do not go to the restaurant next door on the left. The food is horrendous and had hair in it. Overall, convenient place to stay with easy access to the park and to the lighthouse. Didn't interact too much with the staff, but they seemed nice enough.

AMAZING hotel with great host & location

Love every part of this stay at this hotel. The hotel was directly above Kenting main street which is easily accessible. We had a balcony overlooking the street which was lovely. The room is new and clean, with a great air conditioner which is so important in the hot weather. The hotel is close to all the beaches, Xiao Wan by foot, Nan Wan and Da Wan by cab less than 5-10 min ($100 ntd or less, $3-$4 USD). The host is extremely nice, and managed to booked us water activities at Nan Wan for a great discount along with free rides back and forth from the hotel. Loved it.

Beach getaway

It's a nice tiny hotel right on the main road, so it's easy to get to. The staff is willing to help with directions to the bus stop and different food. The room was beautiful. It felt like a beach house.

Good location but not for those scared of insects

We emailed the hotel in advance to arrange for ride from Kaohsiung to Kenting. Good response time and clear communication (in written Chinese). Both the hotel staff and the shared ride driver contacted us by phone a day before the pick up to confirm location & time. The NTD 350/person one-way ride was totally worth it as the ride was comfortable and the driver was friendly. Upon arriving at the hotel, an older lady greeted us at the reception and offered advice on restaurants (good recommendations). We rented a scooter from her (NTD400/day) but the scooter was not in very good condition. We therefore rented at a another store the next day at a slightly higher price (NTD500/day). We can tell that the cleaning lady was trying very hard to keep the hotel clean. However, being on the Kenting Main Street where all the night market food stalls open from sunset to midnight, it was probably too difficult for them to get rid of all the insects. There was a lot of ants coming through a gap near the window on our second night. We poured water on them to drive them away. Then later in the night I saw a mid-sized cockroach on the floor. I was terrified. If you're not scared of insects, it's a good hotel to stay as it's close to the night market. However, I would definitely stay away from hotels close to the night market next time.

Die Dame die die Unterkunft leitet, ist sehr lieb und immer hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich daher sehr wohl in dem Hotel. Es hat einen schönen Charakter. Wenn man aus dem Hotel links geht, ist dort ein kleines Taiwanesisches Frühstückslokal mit steamed buns und vielen anderen klassischen Taiwanesischen Frühstückssachen. Sehr zu empfehlen und ich glaube die Leute dort kennen die Dame vom Hotel. Es scheint eine schöne lokale Gemeinschaft zu sein. Der Balkon des Zimmers war super, um abends die Speisen vom Nachtmarkt in Ruhe zu essen.
