Welcome to "Parr"adise affectionately named after the owners of this beauty. This 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home sits on a secluded point of land over an acre in size on the Yeopim Creek adjacent to the Albemarle Sound and directly across from Albemarle Plantation. With 180 degrees of waterviews, Parradise has incredible sunrises and sunsets, brackish water that warms early in the year allowing all types of watersports, excellent fishing and crabbing. Relax on the dock, in the warm water or under the covered deck. The home has everything you need for a relaxing time away with friends and family. Bring your boat or jet skis as there is a ramp nearby and they can be tied to our dock. Stairs lead you to a sandy bottom sliver of beach where you can launch our 2 kayaks or 2 paddle boards. Sunfish sailboat and wind surfer available for experienced sailors only who know how to set up and take down appropriately. Crab or fish directly from the dock. Crab pot and fishing poles available, just bring bait! Toys galore, including ping-pong tables, badminton, cornhole boards, basketball hoop. We have the perfect balance allowing you to play hard and relax as much as desired.

Parradise has room for large groups in the 3200+ square feet, including two master bedrooms. There is a downstairs master bedroom with King bed and ensuite bathroom with tiled shower. TV in master. Relax in the screened porch directly off of this master BR. Upstairs you will find an Upstairs Master Bedroom with Queen bed and ensuite bathroom with tiled shower. TV in master. Bedroom 3 has two Queen beds. Bedroom 4 has a Queen Bed. Bedroom 5 has 3 twins. Hallway full sized bathroom with tub/shower combo. There is also an outdoor shower enclosure with hot water. This home has a tankless water heater, so you never run out of hot water.

The fully stocked kitchen seats 8 at the table with center lazy-susan makes access for family style meals easy. Additional seating for 4 at the bar. Large open floor plan makes cooking and entertaining a breeze. Gas stove with downdraft, microwave, toaster oven, oven, coffee maker, blender, gas grill with gas line--lots of options for cooking ease.

Family room has a large sectional sofa and a Lazy Boy recliner. Enjoy your favorite shows on the " TV with Roku/You Tube TV. There is also Chromecast for you to stream from your personal Hulu or Netflix accounts. Gas fireplace with easy on/off switch for wintertime usage. Access the screened porch off the family room to enjoy quiet time.
Sonos music system for you to stream music inside or outside of house.

After a day on the water, come inside and play a game of pool or pinball. We have a card/poker table with a hard top to use for puzzles. We offer an outside hammock and plenty of chairs and a swing to relax in on the covered deck so enjoy the outdoors rain or shine. We also have a wood burning fire pit with a small amount of starter wood. Bring more if desired.

Great location for a multi-family getaway

We had an incredible stay at this VRBO! The location was absolutely ideal—peaceful, scenic, and just steps from the water. The property itself is spacious and thoughtfully laid out, making it perfect for multiple families traveling together. Everyone had room to spread out, relax, and enjoy their own space while still feeling connected.What really stood out was how generous and well-prepared the host was. They provided an amazing array of water gear—lifejackets, kayaks, and plenty of other fun items to enjoy the lake. Honestly, there was more to do than we could fit into a week! It felt like every day brought a new adventure, and the kids (and adults!) were never bored.This home is clearly cared for with love and attention to detail. We left feeling refreshed, connected, and already dreaming about our next visit. Highly recommend for families looking to make lasting memories together!

Absolutely Wonderful Stay

Had an early 60th BDay celebration with a small group of friends and we were all so very pleased with this property. Several have stayed in other short term rentals and said by far this was the cleanest, most accurately described. It is well equipped for fun with games, books, pool table, paddle boards, kayaks, floats
 so many amenities provided that we weren’t even expecting to ensure guests have a great stay. We brought a boat which really added to our ability to add fun water recreation. The views from the porch and several rooms are fantastic!! The host was so easy to work with. After a bad lightening storm took out the internet overnight, she let me know before we even noticed. Really just a top notch experience for our long weekend away. Will be back, for sure!

Nice layout, beautiful views

The property was impressive and definitely looked even more spacious and luxurious in person than in the photos. We were pleasantly surprised. The layout of the home made for ample space to gather as a family and retreat to private areas for less chaotic downtime. The internet was quite fast, no problems there.

Perfect for our family.

The size and location was perfect for our family. We needed a large place for family to stay for my son‘s wedding. The master bedroom on the main floor was perfect for my mother-in-law who cannot do stairs. I would highly recommend the space for family gatherings.

Amazing weekend on the Albemarle Sound!

We had a wonderful family weekend at the Parr's waterfront home! We kayaked, made s'mores, played ping-pong and basketball and ladders in the driveway, and all around had an amazing time. The house was beautiful and spacious, a perfect setting for time together. Hope to be back again!

A group of friends stayed at this lovely, spacious home, as our base for daily kayaking adventures. Every one of us raved about the beautiful location! Morning coffee, in the rocking chairs on the deck, watching the sunrise was unforgettable. Highly recommend.

The property is exactly as advertised. Amazing Stay 10/10!!

My family and I had the most remarkable stay in this beautiful home. Other reviewers are right- the photos simply don’t do it justice! The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to cook meals at home, and the dining area is large enough to accommodate a big family. We seated 8 very comfortably around the dining room table and popped the two kids at the breakfast bar (which can easily seat 4). The bedrooms are spacious and the beds comfortable, and plenty of bathrooms to give everyone the space and privacy they need. There’s a gaming table, a comfortable living room, a pool table, and every outdoor game you can think of. It’s the perfect place to detach and unwind and spend quality time with family and friends. There is also a lot of nature to take in- the water, sunrise & sunset, turtles, bunnies, deer, birds, etc. So much relaxation and pure enjoyment. The host Tracey is amazing, super responsive, and a gem for sharing this beautiful home with us. The home is also located within reasonable driving distance to the beaches (OBX or Virginia Beach) but honestly given everything else to do right at the house, there’s not much need to travel too far! Pro tip: the dock on the property is a beautiful place for a marriage proposal! My daughter’s BF proposed to her on our trip, and I’ve since learned that this was not the first proposal in this spot! If you are looking for a romantic setting to propose combined with family and friends, look no further!

Perfect Getaway for large Families or a group a friends.

This property is amazing! Anything that you could imagine needing at the River is there for you. The house is immaculate and you are close to many great food options in Elizabeth city and downtown Edenton. You will not regret staying here! Bring your suntan lotion and enjoy!

A breath of fresh air

We had the best time. The house and property were so beautiful and relaxing. I spent as much time as I could just sitting at on the porch enjoying the water view. My boys were glued to the ping pong table. There was a space and something to do for everyone. Will definitely be booking again in the future!

Hole in One!

Great house, outstanding location. Everything you need for a relaxing stay. We played basketball, had a bonfire, went kayaking, paddleboarding and fishing. We played pool, watched a hockey game, sat on the deck and chilled. Beautiful views, comfortable beds, private location for a waterfront home.

From the property listing, I thought the house looked great. I thought the location looked wonderful. I assumed the views and water surroundings would be beautiful. All exceeded my expectations. Everything is better than it looks. The house has everything you need but the owners have left you enough space for you to bring everything you want. None of this would’ve been possible without Tracy. Great owner. A truly super host. Without reservations, I recommend this rental.

Golf buddies weekend

8 golfing friends stayed for a long weekend and had a great time. Very comfortable for a group to relax and enjoy their time off the course. Having the ability to use a boat to ferry us across the waterway to the golf course was unique and very special. Would love to stay again.
