The living, kitchen and dining areas are all open plan and offer ample space for a family of eight. Also on the ground floor, guests will find two double bedrooms each with zip and link beds. There is a super, family shower room with a large shower cubicle and heated towel rail, perfect for warming up after a long day walking.

On the first floor there are a further two double bedrooms each with zip and link beds that can be split into two full size twin beds or joined together to form a super kingsize bed. Each of these upstairs bedrooms benefits from en-suite facilities, one with a shower over bath, and one with a separate shower cubicle. Perfect use of space on the landing also offers guests a small chill out area that will be perfect to enjoy some peace and quiet.

Brewers Cottage is the perfect choice for a family holiday, a break with friends or a good old celebration.

Situated within the grounds of the owner’s home yet keeping a private feel, there is no better location for exploring the local area. The market town of Hexham and Village of Corbridge are both only 3 miles away and offers a variety of shops, restaurants, pubs and a number of useful superstores. For active guests there is also a swimming pool, leisure centre and bowling alley, and for those who enjoy visiting historical attractions, Hexham Abbey and Hadrian’s Wall offer a great day out. Why not spend a day at the races and take a trip to Hexham Racecourse, located only 2 miles away? The pretty village of Corbridge is only 3 miles away and is great for an afternoon enjoying a meal in one of the many traditional cafés or pubs there.

Those who enjoy exploring the local area and also learning a little about local history will be thrilled to find themselves just a few miles away from Hadrian’s Wall. With so much to see and discover here, they may find themselves returning day after day to either take a walk along the famous Military Road, explore one of the Roman Forts and settlements including Chesters, Vindolanda and Housesteads or take a look around the discovery centre called The Sill. Just a short drive to both Newcastle-upon-Tyne, guests who enjoy visiting more modern attractions on their holidays will be pleased to find the Metrocentre within easy distance. Perfect for a holiday with family or well-earned long weekend with friends.

Excellent accommodation, everything we needed and then some. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Family had a great break and are looking to return. Hot tub was a bonus, great on a chilly evening watching the stars. Excellent hosts, very welcoming to our pup too.

Family meet up for January birthday celebrations the property was lovely as was the area. Unfortunately we got snowed in on the Sunday and not able to explore the area further. Would really like to go back and stay again

The kids loved having their own rooms, the hot tub was a hit with everyone, the countryside around it was beautiful, we were very comfortable and had everything we needed. We could not have asked for a better week, the accommodation was lovely, as was the location and weather. Being about 4 miles from Hexham made shopping easy and also a great choice of places to eat out. There is plenty to do within easy reach of the property. There was something for each of the three generations on our trip. The owners were extremely helpful and gave us some really useful local knowledge. There are walks from the property which was great as we had two dogs with us. We would highly recommend this property and hope to book to go again ourselves.
