Adventure awaits! Western NC and North GA abound with opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Set your sights on long-range views with visits to Bell Mountain in Hiawassee (20-minute drive) and Brasstown Bald (highest point in GA, 35-minute drive). Spend the day on Lake Chatuge with a boat or personal watercraft rental from a local marina or launch your own from nearby public access. Want to immerse yourself in nature in the Nantahala National Forest? Bring your mountain bikes and ride the first-class trails at Jackrabbit Mountain (also great for hiking and dog-friendly) less than 5 minutes from the property. Fires Creek Recreation Area (25-minute drive) is another Western NC local favorite for hiking with picturesque views, swimming, and trout fishing. Lakefront Retreat

Beautiful new home and nice subdivision. Nicely decorated and has everything needed for a great stay at the lake. Amazing views! Firepit was great for relaxing in the evenings. The dock was great and it was nice to have Lake Chatuga Marina so close by for great boat rentals!. Enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards as well. The covered porches on both levels were great for morning coffee and watching an afternoon shower in the mountains. Hope to be back soon!

Loved the location on Lake Chatuge! The property has all the amenities that you will need (SUPs, Kayaks, Board Games, Pool Table/Ping Pong). Our property manager, Priscilla, was proactive with communication and attentive to our needs during the stay! Would highly recommend this property!!!

Beautifully Furnished, Weel-Appointed Home

We stayed at the property for a short girls weekend last weekend and it was amazing! Both the owner and the property manager were very responsive to questions that we had. This property includes a covered boat dock which we used. The steps leading down to the dock are made with large boulders and pretty easy to navigate; not too much of a hike. The location is perfect. This property is a new home so blinds or curtains have not made it on all the windows yet and the driveway is a tad steep, but nothing we couldn’t handle! The interior and exterior of the home are so well thought out and just gorgeous! We will definitely stay again.
