My family and I enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect for us (5 adults) it was close to the areas we wanted to visit. The beds were so comfortable and the owners had the room ready and warmed up for us, so when we arrived we were able to sleep comfortably. Loved the options for grilling or pizza oven. They also had a very nice deck with plenty of seating and fire pits. We will definitely keep this place as one of our top options when visiting SD again!

The owners are very friendly and helpful. It was like staying with old friends. Don't be put off by the proximity to the road: it was very quiet at night and we slept like babies.

We both had an amazing time at this mountain lodge. It is set in a beautiful location. Gary and Melisa, our hosts made us feel very welcome. The lodge was very well maintained, and equipped, and we felt totally relaxed.

We were on a family road trip and loved our stay here. It was centrally located to everything from Crazy Horse to Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park. Melissa and Cary were great hosts. They understood we would be late and put me at ease about checking in late. Our room was beautiful and the beds!!! Omg!!! So comfortable!! We loved catching up with them at breakfast too. They take great care to make sure you are enjoying your stay. It was perfect for my family. I would definitely recommend staying here on your next trip to the Black Hills.

Room decor had pleasant rustic decor. Loved the tree lined hills outside the front and back windows and the spacious wrap around front porch. The owners were quick to respond with a personal phone call. Our stay was short, but sweet!

Room was very small. There was no place to seat to eat. Free breakfast consisted of coffee and donuts. No ice and if you wanted ice you had to buy it. Would not recommend this place.
