Once we got our room figured out, we enjoyed our stay. The first room had a mildew smell, the second room the bed springs were coming up through our backs, the third room again smelled like mildew. Finally the fourth room worked for us - it didn’t smell like mildew and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff was patient with us while we worked through the situation. The lobby area always had fruit in the hospitality bowl. We felt the Omni nickel and dimed a bit with hotel resort fees, so in addition to paying the room fees we were hit with a couple hundred dollars on the way out the door. We did like having access to the little kitchenette in each room (one of the reasons I booked with this hotel). A couple of the employees working in The Market copped an attitude when I used the complimentary coffee coupon. The gym was well equipped and had everything we needed including Pelotons, incline walking machines, free weights, fresh towels, yoga mats, medicine balls, etc Though we did not have a pet with us, we noticed many patrons who brought dogs.

The hotel entrance is very nice. Other than that the pictures online are deceiving and the place is literally falling part on the outside. Staff was very nice. Room had some minor issues like the bed frame was frayed and looked like it had been through some things. For the money you pay to stay here, it’s not worth it. The resort aspect isn’t there and if you do wanna eat on site prepare to spend 50 per person minimum. We ended up leaving early because we could not relax here. We weren’t able to get our money back. Prob our last time going to HHI

The staff at the Omni were definitely top notch. Everyone we came in contact with was very hospitable and welcoming. The facilities were in great shape, clean, updated and very comfortable. We hope to visit again.

The staff and amenities were great! The property (as are many) has been renovated to some extent. But, I would have expected better execution of these renovations given the reputation and expense of this resort. For example, the paint job was poor in the room. When we arrived, the toilet was defective and there was a leak in the living area, and the room smelled musty. BUT, everything outside the room, was great!

Room was very efficient. Only dislike was the smell when entering (due to no circulation in the room) Oncw the AC was turned on it was better! Some updates need to be changed to the bathroom. And feedback to the hotel not in a negative way but the carpet from the elevators to the room should be taken up and Tiles. Easier for rolling luggage’s and also more ramps should be placed at each staircase for easier access of carrying our luggage and wheelchair accessible.

After 40 years in hospitality I have to share that Omni gets it right! Every single staff member greeted us with a smile and willingness to make our day better. The housekeeping staff went beyond to fix a problem caused by my family and did so quickly, thoroughly and kindly. Can’t praise them enough!! The food both at breakfast and outside at the Boughy cafe was delicious and reasonably priced for a resort. We have stayed at the Westin and Hilton and the Omni has them beat by far! Our room was also lovely! Couldn’t recommend the Omni more! We’ll be back next year!
