A large, private, heated* Saltwater pool and spa is right off the porch. The pool deck has beautiful new stone pavers and a manicured lawn with live oaks and palms backing up to the gorgeous Brigantine Golf Course. We enjoyed our stay very much. Clean, well equipped, plenty of room for our family of 9, kids loved the pool/hot tub, nice landscaping, convenient location, etc. The check in was easy, and the staff very helpful every time we called. Also, appreciate the 4 bikes and beach wagon. Only problem we had was when garbage was picked up on Wednesday, they left garbage (dirty diapers and we have no babies) we had to pick up.

We were able to check in 30 minutes early which we really appreciated. This was our second time staying at this property. Plenty of room for our family of 6 adults and 4 children. Love the pool and enclosed patio. Backyard is very private. Kitchen is beautiful.

relaxing stay

We had a great stay at Gloucester for our spring break. The house was as described and very clean. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Having accessibility to the bikes was very convenient. We loved the development and the accessibility to the beach. Our only complaint was the communication with the rental company. They never mailed us our parking passes for our stay and the guard at the Shipyard was a bit frustrated with us when we arrived. He sent us to the rental company. Once arriving at the rental company the woman at the front desk seemed very confused as to why we were there. Other than that we had a wonderful stay and would stay again.

The BEST

This is our second time renting this house for our annual Special Olympics North American tennis/pickleball tournaments. The house generously accommodates all of our athletes that travel, is clean, allows us to be able to cook meals instead of eat out and is our favorite house we have stayed in. The check in process is easy, the company is quick to respond and is always helpful. We look forward to more stays at this house.

Multi generational in Shipyard

This is our second year at 52 Gloucester. The size, comfort, location, cleanliness of home, pool and ease of reservation and check in and out process will bring us back next year. Our three generation group gave it a unanimous thumbs- up. We are 32 year veterans of family vacations on Hilton Head and we have stayed at least once in most areas. 52 Gloucester is among the best.

Wonderful house and pool

We LOVED our stay. The house was perfect and had absolutely everything we needed. The pool was fantastic, and the pool lights and landscape lighting were so pretty; made swimming in the evenings a fun part of the trip. We debated on heating the spa since it was going to be warm, but are glad we did. We really enjoyed it in the evenings. The screened porch was a delight to have, we spent late nights/early mornings playing games and working puzzles. The extra amenities were so well thought out. Having bikes to enjoy riding around the trails that take you everywhere was appreciated as well as having some extras to take to the beach. We did use the bikes to get to the beach. It is walkable, takes some time though, so we mostly drove or rode bikes to the beach. Parking at beach is limited so going earlier in the morning or just after lunch made parking easier. No trouble though when we couldn’t find parking. We just drove and dropped off people/beach stuff and two of us took the car back to the house and then enjoyed a bike ride back to the beach. The beach that’s accessed from Shipyard is very nice with a great walkway with showers and restrooms, and there was a lifeguard. The location of the house to access grocery stores, shopping, and restaurants was great, close to everything. Also enjoyed some visitors at the house including deer, red shoulder hawks and a few golfers that went a little right of the course. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for sharing it.

Comfort on Gloucester

The house and setting nestled in the beautiful Shipyard Oaks with Spanish Moss dangling down were the one of many highlights of this gated community. There are ample paved trails for biking or strolling. The house and pool area are just perfect for kicking back and relaxing. The kitchen has plenty of provisioning that makes cooking a breeze. Loved how clean the house and community was. The only downside was deciding if we wanted to go out for dinner or stay in!!

Amazing house for family

We own a villa in another Shipyard complex but we needed more space for a family wedding. The house was spacious, clean, and everything that was advertised. The pool area was amazing and made it difficult to venture away from the property. This property surpassed all expectations!

Really just a GREAT house...

In addition to all of the usual things (well-equipped kitchen with super modern appliances, great location, awesome pool, comfy beds, etc.), I'll mention a few of the other things that made this house so special: - ONE tiny half-step at the front door. Easy to bring in groceries and luggage. And about 2 steps from the driveway. - Speaking of the driveway, the entire driveway and walkways were brand new concrete. Not worn out uneven pavers or busted up asphalt. - Plenty of space for parking cars. - A pool that was all one depth that makes it super easy for all. - excellent pressure for the showers (even the outside one with both hot and cold water). - modern spa and very cool pool lights that could change colors or rotate colors. - HVAC system that kept that house COLD with zero fluctuations. - modern pool chaise lounge chairs, and a grill that was excellent and not worn out with burners that don't work like some places. To summarize, just a great house that presses all of the right buttons! We'll be back!

Great Property and Location

House was roomy enough for six of us. Kitchen was fairly well supplied. Seating in living room needs updating and more seating added. Only drawback is that it is managed by a company (I am a VRBO owner and manage my own property, I understand this is not always feasible), and the supplies provided (other than sheets and towels) for a two week stay are so minimal they might as well not provide anything!

Fun Beautiful Stay

We had a GREAT time staying at 52 Gloucester. It is nestled in a beautiful neighborhood, close in proximity to lots of different amenities', beautiful home and as is pictured, property management company is local, communicates well, and super helpful. The home is well kept, clean, fresh, and in working order. I would highly recommend this property.
