Welcome to 203 Beachwalk, a beautifully updated villa tucked within the lush, gated community of Shipyard Plantation on Hilton Head Island. *Shipyard is a gated community in which every vehicle must have a gate pass for entry. One gate pass is included with your reservation at the time of booking. If you require additional passes, please request the exact number needed to ensure they are prepared in advance. Each pass has a fee of $45. This was our 2nd time at this unit. The location is great and the condo is very well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed watching football and the election results on the large tv in the living room.We had a very pleasant week in Hilton Head and hope to head up from Florida again soon.

Last Minute Gem

We really enjoyed our stay here for 4-5 days. We took our bikes so that we could have a quick and easy access to the beach. I’m really glad that we did because this is this place to ride bikes. The bike paths were mostly shaded and they have paths all over Hilton head to ride. It was so much fun!!

Great Stay

This condo worked out great for our family during our stay… It was very quiet and a convenient walk to the beach… This was especially helpful over the busy July 4th weekend, since parking can be hard to find there… The property management was great to work with and we enjoyed the gifts they left us… The only downfall with this unit is the bathrooms.. They’re dated and the showers really should be replaced… Also, the mattresses in the bunk room could have been better… But we didn’t let that damper our stay…

We love our stay at the property

The ground floor is just as pictured, clean, light-filled and nicely decorated. There is a 9 minute walk to the beach. The beach is clean and the sand is soft. We enjoyed golfing, biking on the island and a trip to Savannah. The master room mattress is a bit too soft to our taste and showers can use some update. Overall, it was still a great vacation for us.

Great location

The inside of the condo was nice but the outside needed some work. Front steps looked very worn, deck really needed to be power washed, plus the deck was nice and large but needed more furniture. Also the condo has two bathtubs but neither has a stopper so it’s not possible to take a bath.

Enjoyable getaway

We enjoyed our time at the condo. The downstairs is updated and very comfortable. There was a wagon and umbrella (and chairs) provided by the owners which we used every time we went to the beach and was super helpful. The beach is a 10 minute walk which was easy to do, especially with the wagon. The upstairs is a bit dated but still comfortable. The management company was wonderful and could not have been more helpful when we had issues or questions. Overall, this rental is a great value for the money!

The only criticism. I realized I forgot several shirts I left in a drawer. I called the day after we left and whoever I talked to in the office said she would check and send them if found. No one ever called back to indicate whether they were found or not.

Nice, comfortable unit for our family

This unit was exactly as pictured! Things were in great condition, beds were comfortable, and we had plenty of space for our family of 4. My only recommendation would be for the description to change to say it is a 10-12 minute walk from the beach rather than a 5 minute walk. It was still within walking distance, but a little farther than anticipated walking with a 2 and 6 year old. We ended up using the included beach wagon to pull her along a couple of times and that worked! Even without small kids, I’d say it’s a 10 minute walk to the beach clubhouse from this unit. They do have parking spots by the beach club you can drive down to if you can find a spot - they fill up in the morning and stay pretty full through the day - and a drop off area right in the front. We enjoyed working with Host2Coast and would recommend this property and stay again!

The house has most of what you need for that perfect day in the sand, an umbrella, and a wagon to get your things there. We had our own chairs which we were happy to have as what they have is stored in the garbage shed and they do smell. Inside, the accommodations are great! Comfy couch and chairs for early morning coffee or a late night family movie. Our daughters shared the second room and had lots of space for their things. We used the convenient BBQ to grill and prepared a number of meals in the kitchen that is mostly stocked with what you will need. Shops, restaurants and the grocery store are all within biking or driving distance.

Our only complaint was that the dryer didn't work and one of the toliets didn't flush well and we couldn't use it. Otherwise we were very comfortable.

Deer at the back porch every evening. Distance to the beach by foot: 10 minutes. By car no problem, always found a spot. Very clean villa, well equipped, incl. full beach gear. It was clean, had anything that we could possibly need for our stay and the one thing that was missing was delivered pronto! The furniture and beds were super comfortable. The proximity to the beach was good as well. Host2Coast is very easy to work with as well. We will definitely come back again for another stay.
