The hotel is in a convenient location, though it’s right on some major roads, so crossing can be stressful if you’re not comfortable with busy HCM traffic. The rooms were clean and comfortable, which was a positive. Staff during the day seemed a bit disinterested, but the night staff were very helpful and attentive. Overall, a pretty ordinary stay, with the main strengths being cleanliness and location.

Expected more for the price

The lobby is very beautiful, there are free water bottles in the room and the breakfast had a lot of yummy fresh fruit. There were a couple downsides to the stay, there were small white bugs all over the night stands, on the bathroom counter and on the shelves in the room. There were a couple ants we noticed as well which weren’t a big deal but the white bugs got on our bags. The receptionist coordinated a taxi for us to go to dinner but it took us to the wrong address in a completely different district and we had to get someone to translate it was the wrong place. If this hotel was half the price, I would have expected some of these issues.

It's an OK hotel to stay a night or 2. Beware they have rooms without windows which is not being properly advertised here. We booked one without knowing (superior), but were upgraded to a normal room, so this wasn't an issue in the end. Area around hotel has a lot of food options and within walking distance from those few things worth seeing in this city. Room was quiet and clean. Beds are comfortable but noisy. Bathroom door is also extremely noisy. Housekeeping service room was in front of our door so we enjoyed Vietnamese music from housekeeper's mobile phone since 6 am daily (consider jet lag too). Terrace for breakfast is nice but breakfast itself is below average. You will be better of booking room only and then eating nearby

Mold in the shower. Provide only one key per room, the key used to turn on the electricty so every time you leave and come back, the room is so hot and humid. It took a while for the AC bring down the temperture. Offered you an upgrade room with an xxx amount then charged you 3 times more when you checked out. They really know how to scam you! If you used the plastic spoon in the room to mix your coffee, they will charge you a fee even though it is a disposable one (their excuse is it will be reused for the next guest, so if you throw them away, they will charge you, that is so unsantized) and supposed to be complementary.

Great rooftop area for breakfast, with plenty of options to choose from. Only issue was that in the photos of the property it showed a photo of a pool so I booked the property thinking it had a pool. On arrival it was actually the hotel across the road, the pool photo was obviously a view from our the room window. Slightly misleading but otherwise a lovely property. 20 min walk to the War Remnants Museum. Also walking distance to many cafes, coffee shops and shopping.
