Heritage Garden Cottage

The cottage's proximity to Salamanca Place and the Hobart waterfront make it a perfect place to base yourself for a visit to Hobart. Attention to detail has resulted in high standard accommodation suitable for a family of four or for four adults. Friendly and obliging hosts will meet you on arrival and show you through the property. Those who like to cook will enjoy the fully equipped kitchen with oven, cooktop, microwave and dishwasher. Otherwise take a short stroll to the many nearby restaurants and coffee shops.
There are 2 bedrooms, the main bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has 2 king single beds.
Gas heating in the main living area and electric panel heating in the bedrooms ensure that the cottage is warm during Hobart's winter season.

Hobart visit

Easy on street parking. Short walk of 5 min to multiple restaurants and coffee shops. 10 min to Salamanca Market area via Kelly Steps - grocery and more restaurants. Very quiet until about 6:30 am when neighbors start leaving for work. Host very responsive. Excellent base for any Hobart weekend.

Battery Point Heritage Accommodation

Really enjoyed staying at the Heritage Garden Cottage. The location is brilliant for access to Salamanca Place and all of the excellent eateries close by. It's a heritage area surrounded by gorgeous early Australian architecture and steeped in history. The cottage itself is well appointed and very clean and comfortable plus the garden is divine and has water views.

Fantastic historic cottage for a family stay, or with friends. Everything and more is thought of to make your stay comfortable, was wonderful. Easy walk to Salamanca and Sullivans cove. Local pub one minute walk. Beautiful veiws of the bay and gardens.

The best of Battery Quay

Wonderful converted stables, in sublime location 15 mins walk from ferries, bars/restaurants and CBD. Host's garden was beautiful. Spacious living/dining/kitchen, with quirky bedrooms and terrace. So good.

Lovely historical cottage in Battery Point had everything we needed for a 3 day stay. Walked everywhere. Great quiet and charming location with excellent bakeries and restaurants around the corner. Eady walk to the MONA ferry.

Amazing Location and host

This property has everything that you need for a wonderful time in Hobart. We stayed for nearly 4 weeks and could not be more impressed with the location, the facilities and hosts. Perfect property perfect location

We have stayed in Hobart many times but this time we wanted something with charm, history and in Battery Point. This property is exaxtly as listed, water views, stone cottahe and a stones throw from Hampden Rd. Even better right next to our fav pub 'Shipwrights Arms'. Also a lovely garden to sit in some afternoon sun

Great Experience

Gillian was a wonderful host. It was cosy and warm with the fire on. There was everything we needed to cook our own meals, including oil, salt pepper etc.. A great location for walking around Battery Point, Salamanca and also an easy walk into Hobart.
