Absolutely beautiful place to stay! We were at Stokksness a few years ago, before these rooms were built and the addition was put on the cafe. Back then, it was our favorite part of the trip so we were super excited to actually stay on site this time. It did not disappoint!

Idyllic location! but the cabin was too basic, next to a construction site, and breakfast was below average. This was the most expensive night of our trip, and one of the poorest in terms of quality, but there are not many options in that area.

For any photographers wanting to get photos of Vestrahorn, there is no better place to stay. There have been new additions to guesthouse over the past year and the new rooms are excellent! Some even have kichenettes and washer/dryers which is great especially if on a longer trip. Access to the beach is included and you can get tickets at cafe to come and go as you please and chase the light.

Small but strategically placed property right beside Vestrahorn and the Viking Village. Room look updated, although small with not much room to move around the beds, it had everything needed for a comfortable and quiet stay with great views. Very friendly welcome and with it right beside Vestrahorn, it was an ideal stay for getting pics at sunset and sunrise. Breakfast was standard fare but dinner options were limited to soup, a panini or grilled cheese and ham. Book early as likely to sell out well in advance!

This property is a beautiful work in progress. I sure hope I get to revisit it in the future. The reception/cafe counter is also a gatekeeper for the campers who are parked nearby. Not a problem - just an observation. The cafe, which has a limited menu right now, while perfectly adequate at the moment I feel will be a lovely place to visit in the future. Builders are busy putting finishing touches to the high ceilinged room with gorgeous windows looking out to the coast. We were in a room for three which was located a few minutes from the Viking Cafe. The unit was large, spacious, and had a separate living area. Bathroom was also large and spacious. Small refrigerator and lots of outlets for charging electronics. Large screen TV. Some beautiful touches such as shelves of real wood and leather couches. A very nice breakfast included.

What fantastic customer service. A beautiful location. Nature at it’s best. Loved the convenience of visiting local tourist attractions and hiking. However, the mold issue in the bathroom needs to be addressed.

Great staff and comfortable rooms with epic views. A lot of work going on at the property - will be great when completed. Staff in the cafe were fantastic and we had a delicious breakfast.

This was an awesome spot. Kind of out of the way and it looks like they are expanding with a bunch of construction. The room was large and comfortable and a nice breakfast as well.
