Royal Palms is a newly constructed family villa, located on a private road in the beautiful parish of St James. This privately gated, spacious 5 bedroom villa sits within enclosed gardens and is finished to a very high standard. The house is looked after by the lovely and friendly Desiree with extra staff being available if required (chef, butler, etc) Royal Palms is a three minute walk to the glorious blue waters and sands of the West Coast with many high end restaurants and amenities close by.

A beautiful villa which provided a fantastic level of comfort and luxury for a very memorable family gathering.On site management and domestic services were excellent. Proximity to Holetown and prime restaurants almost walkable but taxi’s were plentiful.Looking forward to a return visit. I now reluctantly post this review knowing it will make it too popular.

Perfect Location and Beautiful HomeThis house was exactly what we were looking for. The pool is fantastic, and the house itself is beautiful and fully stocked with everything we needed. We loved being so close to a gorgeous beach and close proximity of Holetown. The host and property manager were very kind, commutative and incredibly accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Royal Palms Villa

We had a wonderful 10 days in this beautiful villa which was a 3 minute walk from the beach. Desiree was brilliant and always on hand to help us. The only issue we had was that we were getting bitten by mosquitoes all the time - inside as well as outside the villa. If there was air conditioning downstairs in the lounges and kitchen areas we would not have had to leave the outside doors open which would have prevented them being inside so much. Also mosquito blinds/nets on the outside doors would be useful. Otherwise a fantastic time had by all 😁

Getaway with Friends

The outdoor space is what made our trip so memorable. This is where we spent the majority of the time. The French doors do not have screens, so you cannot keep them open due to the bugs. This was unfortunate as there is no air condition in the kitchen and living area. (only the bedrooms, so it could be stifling at times inside while in the kitchen). I mentioned this to Desiree. Also they only had 2 beach chairs, so we did not have enough beach chairs for our party of 8. I also mentioned this to Desiree. The house is ONLY “surfaced” clean.. not throughly deep cleaned as the pictures in the listing represented...we had a wonderful time with friends and made some lovely memories. We had a few minor issues that Tony and Desiree said they would address for the next visitors to follow. Tony and Desiree were available if needed via messaging. Wishing all the best!

Just the perfect villa in an idyllic location!

If ever I owned or designed a villa, it would be like this one! Everything about our stay and this villa is perfect. From the moment you enter through the gates everything is designed perfectly. We loved the internal open plan design that is ultimatley all about the pool and outdoor space. This villa is perfect for large familes as it combines the home comforts with the ability to have your own space when needed. The housekeeper Desiree is an absolute pleasure and brings that extra ray of sunshine to your day. Can't wait to go back!

A fabulous stay

We have recently returned from our fantastic holiday staying at this beautiful house situated in St James. We were greeted by the wonderful housekeeper, Desiree and she looked after us so well throughout our 2 weeks. Desiree went above and beyond to meet our needs and we were grateful to have her around for our stay. The management and communication of the house was outstanding from start to finish, dealing with both James and Tony. We had young children with us and the house was suitable for everyone of all ages. The pool area and gardens were excellent for the children to play and the interior of the house was perfect with beautiful bedrooms and en suites and a lovely living area to enjoy one another's company in the evenings. We hope to return to the house again in the near future for another wonderful holiday.

Fantastic workcation

We stayed at the Royal Palms for a week while attending a work event nearby. The villa was a highlight of the trip, with a beautiful house, garden and pool, all the essentials we needed, and easy contact with the owner and property manager. As a group of work colleagues, we had enough private space each (every bedroom has It's own bathroom), and plenty of common space to use as group, both in the kitchen and on the backyard patio. It's a short walk to the beach, with excellent snorkelling options just a few minutes south. I would be excited to stay here again.

Great family vacation

Overall we had a pleasant experience at this property. We were a family of 7 (5 adults & 2 kids.) We chose this house because of the accessibility for my father who is in a wheelchair. It was a very spacious house with all the amenities. The bathroom was easy for him to get in and out of. The only thing I would recommend is renting a proper shower chair for anyone who has mobility issues. (FYI: there were no grab bars, in case someone is dependant on those.) The house manager Tony was very informative and helpful in arranging everything for us. Before we booked, he was so kind to measure all the doorways and provide any other information we needed. He also arranged for a mobile massage service and for a chef (Sharon) who by the way, was amazing! If we had any questions, Tony was always willing to answer and help in the best way he could. The housekeeper Desiree was also very friendly and helpful. It was nice having there! The only thing I would caution is those traveling with elderly. I didn't realize that the common area (kitchen & living room) was not air conditioned, only the bedrooms are. During the day it was fine to leave all the doors open and have the breeze come in. We found the evenings difficult. We couldn't really open the doors because of the bugs and it felt really hot and humid. This is truly the only thing that I would say is lacking in the house. Other than that, I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a spacious property. The rooms were a generous size too, and all of them had bathrooms. Which was perfect! The kids loved the pool! Location was good too. A very short walk to the beach. It felt as though we had our own private beach anytime we went. Thanks again to Tony, Desiree and Sharon for making our stay in Barbados so pleasant and welcoming!

The Great House

We had a great experience .This property had everything you could possibly need to make a holiday ,well equipped ,great welcome pack complete with Tonic thank you Tony for everything ..he was great and organised all our needs during quarantining.we picked this villa because we knew we were going to need all the separate lounging areas to get away from each other and it was perfect... I just remembered I broke a small funny oval shaped sauce bowl and didn’t tell Desiree I forgot Sorry Tony picked up a few more mats to stop us slipping coming from swimmingpool which was a bit of a problem initially but all solved Thank you again I hope we weren’t too messy Edwina

Beautiful house, great location

We loved our stay here, it’s a great house for kids too as most bedrooms are on ground level so it felt really safe. Really spacious if staying with friends so you aren’t on each other’s toes.
