Besides the carpet needing a thorough deep cleaning, the pool area was not in service and we were unaware of this until after we checked in. The staff did not inform us of this, we happened to see the sign on the door to the pool as we walked by.

Room needed some deep cleaning. Surface clean. Food selection for breakfast could be improved: bagels, toast, fruit. No decaf coffee. Pricing very reasonable. Would stay again for overnight occasions.

Carpet, mirrors, and furniture were filthy. Thought perhaps sheets had been previously slept on because they were so wrinkled. Plumbing didn’t work. Had to flush toilet 5 times. Shower plumbing didn’t work correctly. Bathroom floor dirty. Bug crawling in bathroom. Holes in bathroom ceiling. Room smelled. Breakfast pathetic. Place was a dirty dump. Manager not in sight at check in desk at night or in morning.

Our stay was fine, I have no significant complaints. The staff was wonderful. For the sake of an informative review, there were a couple little things that could have been better, namely the stained and chipped bathtub and water stain on the ceiling. Also, the light fixture in the bathroom was a little odd - out of the four lightbulbs, one was burned out and another appeared be, inexplicably, a blacklight. This created a bizarre lighting situation that we had a good laugh about. None of these problems were particularly impactful on our stay and I wouldn’t warn people away from the hotel by any means, but there are opportunities for improvement.
