Countryside Retreat: A remodeled 1800’s artist cottage on the lake

A 2-bedroom lakeside cabin just 10min from Lahti and 1.5h from Helsinki airport.
It offers peace and privacy on a large property with a big yard, trampoline, and unique sculpture garden. Explore the surrounding countryside and nearby hiking and skiing trails and then return home to a warm sauna and swimming right from the dock. Inside you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen, comfy living area, and warm atmosphere. alike. Come experience Finnish lakeside living -close to Lahti, but a world away. We are located across from Messilä camping and skiing. From Messilä you can access ski, biking, and hiking trails. The cabin you are renting is connected by a hallway with a door to another house (pic per request) that was built in the 1960s. We currently live there.

There’s also a row boat and kayak you are welcome to take out.

Sehr freundliche und hilfreiche Gastgeber. Das historische Haus ist etwas besonderes und es ist großartig, dass es so gut gepflegt und erhalten wird. Daneben erfüllt es alle Ansprüche an eine moderne Ausstattung.
