'Almost Oceanfront,' or 320 Sea Star Circle is approximately two and a half miles North of Surf City traffic light. You'll be captivated by the breathtaking views of the ocean that can be had from the two sun decks of this impressive town-home.
Access to the swimming pool for those days you just want to lounge around and relax without the sand. Note: Pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day for renters.

This townhome features central air/heat, 6 color TVs, one VCR, 2 DVDs, wireless high-speed internet access, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, ceiling fans, enclosed hot/cold outside shower, carport with wet weather entry that has a wall mounted TV, fridge and love seat, two ocean view sun decks and two pool view sun decks with deck furniture. Easy beach access-a 60 second walk!

See photos for current furnishings etc. There is a (old) video tour (2009) giving you an idea of the layout but refer to other photos for more current furnishings.

Bed linens and towels are not provided. Sweet Dreams just off the island is a great alternative source for these as well as additional baby gear, etc, or just bring your own. Two Kings 1 queen, and 2 twins.

Exactly as advertised! Kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could need! Even a slow cooker! So close to the beach and lovely view from the top deck. Would definitely stay again.

The house was amazing! There was enough space for everyone and a beautiful view of the ocean. The last morning there we even saw dolphins in the ocean from the balcony! The outdoor shower was super helpful in getting the sand off of everyone before we enetered the house. My mother in law arrived before we did, and could not figure out the door lock. The owner, Ke , was very helpful! He was able to let her in remotely and make sure the lock was reset so we could use it during our stay. The whole family loved the beach, and the water was so warm! Being right on the beach was so much fun! We loved staying here!

Walks on the beach

This place has beautiful views of the ocean from the living area and king bedroom on the middle floor. The walk to the beach was very short and easy. The place has every amenity from washer/ dryer, 2 refrigerators and an outside shower/hose. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would stay again. Cleanliness when we arrived could have been better. There was sand all over floors, clothing was found from previous tenants and one toilet needed better cleaning.

Surf City Condo

The condo was outstanding. We really enjoyed our visit. We had a problem with a light switch but the owner immediately had it fixed. The restaurants haven't grown as quickly as the housing. All we saw/ate in were very small. A couple of the kitchens were smaller than our kitchen at home.

Great condo and location

We had a great stay, the condo is located in a nice area just steps from the beach. We had all of the amenities we needed and more. Ken was very responsive and helpful prior to the stay and check in/out were simple. We would definitely book again!

Beautiful home and perfect location

This property is oceanfront and in the perfect location! Very nice place and plenty of room for all 8 of us. Upon check-in we did notice sand on the kitchen counters, in the kitchen floor, in some of the bedroom drawers and on the sofas. There was also trash from the previous renter on the floor under the edge of the sofa. But these were easily fixed and the rest of the unit was very clean! Owner was attentive and responsive, and great about keeping us updated on the tropical storm moving through. Great place to stay!

Fantastic stay

Family vacation of adult siblings with a couple 3-year-olds, and we had such a blast! The listing is detailed and accurate. So I’ll just add that it was very well-stocked with cookware and even things like ziplocks which was a nice surprise. Owner was very responsive, and it was nice corresponding with/renting from the actual owner and not a realty company. Nice outdoor shower with warm water, and I also liked the entry mud room to store beach stuff. The 2 Oceanside decks were AMAZING! Great house, great vacation, definitely recommend!

The Rouse Family

We love the beach and our week away with family! Almost Oceanfront was wonderful!! We have stayed at Sea Star Village before and were disappointed that the townhome where we usually stay was booked but it was a BLESSING in disguise! Almost Oceanfront had a better view! The kitchen was so well stocked! My husband loves to cook at the beach and he had everything he could possibly need!! I am a "knife snob" and usually take my own knives but I didn't even need to get them out! Everything was clean, the temperature in the home was good, beds were comfortable, space is well laid out. I enjoyed reading the guest book and how ironic . . . one of my husbands teachers in his school stayed at the same place in 2006!! How cool is that?? I highly recommend Almost Oceanfront. We will definitely be booking again!

Annual Family Thanksgiving

We had an excellent stay at Ken’s place in Surf City. He was very communicative and everything was easy and smooth during our trip. The property was perfect: clean and contemporary. You can’t really get closer to the beach without steps on the sand. Great ocean views off the beach side porches and we loved having Surf City Line steps away. Solid WiFi and nice TV. Wifey was very impressed with the well-appointed kitchen. We definitely hope to visit again. Top notch Surf City VRBO. Thanks again, Ken!
