"Sunny Dayz" Dog Friendly OCEANFRONT Home - Topsail Island, NC

"Sunny Dayz," a charming, updated three bedroom, two bath oceanfront home located directly on the beaches of Topsail Island, is a popular vacation destination for many who seek fun in the sun on beautiful Topsail Island. In the carport, you'll find an access to a laundry room equipped with a washer and dryer(new in 2022).

Enter the house from the staircase located in the carport to the front door. Here, you enter the home directly into the living room. You'll find new flooring throughout the home added in 2023. The living room has a large L-shaped sectional, two arm chairs, an electric fireplace (added in 2022) and a flat screen TV for relaxing after a long day in the sun. Double sliding doors to the beach-front deck allow for sweeping views of the water right from the couch. Behind the living room lies a cozy kitchen (garbage disposal added in 2022) with a dining table perfect for six and two counter stools.

To the right of the front door bedrooms one and two are found. Bedroom one has a double bed while bedroom two has two twin beds and both bedrooms have flat screen TV's. Both bedrooms share a bathroom located in the hallway with a stand-up shower (renovated in 2023).

The master bedroom in located to the left off the living room. The master bedroom has a queen bed, flat screen TV, private full bathroom and sliding doors out to the beachfront deck.

Hands down, the best feature of this house is the sweeping beachfront deck. The newly built deck stretches across the entire length of the house. A new dining table (added in 2022) is on the deck, perfect for an alfresco meal. There is a high boy table and four high boy chairs to enjoy the surrounding views of Topsail. Off to the side of the deck you'll find a gated access to a fenced side yard (added in 2022) that can also be accessed from the driveway, a perfect play area for pups. This special outdoor space allows for private access to the beach, ensuring that you are always just steps away from a fun filled day in the sun at "Sunny Dayz".

Age Requirements: You must be 25 years or older to rent this property. ID verification required prior to check in. House parties will be evicted immediately. Any group renting this property under false pretenses shall be immediately evicted with no refund.

TV Disclosure: Smart TVs require guests to log in with their own accounts to access subscription apps. Access credentials are not provided.

CANCELLATIONS -
Any cancellation of a confirmed reservation must be made in writing by Guest. Reservation payments are not reimbursable unless the property can be re-rented for the same rate and time period less non refundable reservation fee, cancellation fee, and third-party fees. Please review our Rental Policies and Cancellation Policy.

CHECK IN DAY DETAILS -
Your rental home allows you to check-in directly at the property. Check-in typically becomes available BETWEEN 4:00 - 6:00 PM on the day of your scheduled arrival. As soon as your rental is ready for check in, we will send you a text message with all of your check-in instructions. Please understand that all homes must be cleaned and inspected before we are allowed to issue access details and you are not allowed to be at the property until you have received that text message.

PREPARING FOR YOUR VACATION -
All our vacation rentals include fully equipped kitchens, basic small appliances (microwaves, coffee makers, toasters), pillows, comforters/bedspreads, television(s) and more! Our vacation homes do not supply consumable items for guest use (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, soap, spices, cleaning products, etc.). Please plan accordingly for any items you may need during your stay.

You are welcome to bring your own linens, or we provide a linens rental service for your convenience. Some homes provide complimentary linens for select dates and this detailed information can be found in the description.  Linen package options include BRONZE (bed sheets only per bed listed), SILVER (bed sheets per bed listed, a bath towel set per occupancy, dish towel, and a bath mat per shower/tub), and GOLD (all items from the SILVER package plus one extra bath towel per occupancy).

TOPSAIL ISLAND GENERAL INFO-
WiFi: WiFi signal strength is NOT guaranteed at your rental for remote work or remote learning. We are located on a barrier island and do not have cellular towers on the island. This, coupled with the increase of guests in our area, creates an inconsistent cellular signal that is outside of our control and therefore, compensation is NOT given.   

Beach Nourishment: Beach nourishment projects help preserve and protect Topsail Island’s shoreline. Most projects are scheduled annually between November and April and may involve large pipes on the beach, trucks moving sand, and other equipment to rebuild and maintain our dunes. Timelines and locations can shift without notice, and we are not always informed in advance. While we understand this may impact your beach experience, refunds or compensation will not be provided for disruptions related to beach nourishment. For the latest updates, we recommend checking the town websites for Topsail Beach, Surf City, or North Topsail Beach. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions about potential beach impacts during your stay.

Water Pressure Notice: Please be aware that during popular rental dates, especially in the mornings and evenings, there may be temporary reductions in water pressure. This is a common occurrence across the island as many visitors are getting ready for the day or returning from the beach. We recommend planning showers and other water-related activities accordingly to avoid inconvenience.

Public Parking: The Town of Surf City enforces “Pay to Park” from March 1-Oct 31 from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm in the Surf City Public Beach Access Parking Lots and other marked Public Parking Lots. The Town of North Topsail Beach will enforce “Pay to Park” from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM year-round. Onslow County operates three public parking areas/beach accesses within the Town of North Topsail Beach. To the best of our knowledge the county intends to continue operating these lots free of charge.

Leave No Trace: Topsail Island enforces a "Leave No Trace" policy in order to protect our shoreline, meaning you must remove all items, including tents and chairs, from the beach each day. Any items left behind are subject to theft, removal by the town, or possibility of being washed away by the ocean.

Turtle Nesting Season: From May to October, Topsail Island is a nesting ground for sea turtles. Be mindful of marked nests, limit oceanside deck lights, and follow local guidelines to protect them.
