Welcome to the spacious Unit 12, a four-bedroom, three-bathroom townhouse attractively adorned with white walls, cool pastels, local artwork and polished pine floors with comfortable furniture. The interior decor in your private Holmes Beach vacation rental is elegant, fresh and bright. Escape to your sprawling private deck with views of the Gulf and the stunning Anna Maria Island sunsets, as well as the sparkling pool. The additional balcony/terrace leads the way to Holmes Beach, just steps away from your door.

A fully equipped gourmet kitchen with marble counter tops, custom wood cabinetry and stainless-steel appliances will please chefs of all skill sets.

This three-bedroom suite can accommodate 6 guests comfortably with a maximum total of 10 guests. There is a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the second bedroom and a queen bed in the third bedroom. As a bonus, the fourth bedroom also features a day bed with trundle sleeping, making this Mainsail Beach Inn’s largest unit.

Each unit features historically inspired architecture and craftsmanship, professionally designed interiors, authentic pine flooring, designer fabrics and comfortable furniture. Mainsail Beach Inn offers direct beach access, heated resort-style swimming pool, hot tub, poolside grill, private beach lounge chairs & umbrellas and bicycle rentals.

Great beach, family vacation

The location to beach was excellent. Big enough for 5 adults and 2 children. Recommend bringing food, drinks to property 3 bathrooms were all located within the bedrooms which could be a plus or a minus. There were 4 bedrooms.

Perfect location!

We truly enjoyed our stay here! You are literally within steps of the Beach. Our adult sons played Spikeball on the Beach and sometimes walked to the Beach Cafe for breakfast. (That place is a bit of a walk 
) We rented a golf cart for our stay which was so easy to maneuver for dinner reservations and activities. Would highly recommend this place again.

Beautiful Towhhouse

The townhouse was very nice with plenty of room for 6 adults. There was an extra day bed also. The unit was spotless. May only complaint was that I was not aware that there was one parking space per unit until the day before arrival. Additional spots were available 1 mile away which is very inconvenient, especially because we had a member of our group who just had foot surgery. That should be disclosed in the description of the unit on VRBO (maybe it was and I missed it but it certainly wasn't front and center and we likely would have reconsidered that unit had we known). I will say that Matthew tried to be very accommodating by letting us use a staff space which we were very grateful for.

This was the perfect spot for a simple vacation

We absolutely loved our stay at Mainsail Beach Inn. The staff were super friendly and check out was incredibly simple. It was so nice having a place just steps from the beach as well as the pool just outside our door. We stayed in Unit 12 and had plenty of space for our whole family. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful location

Absolutely gorgeous, spacious unit steps from the beach. The sand and views were incredible. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The drive to the various restaurants and shopping was short and easy. We hope to return again soon!

Laidback beach getaway

From the start, great communication regarding check in. The listing was exactly as stated and very clean and spacious. The listing could actually have accommodated more guests. It provided a perfect location for a family getaway. Close to all the restaurants and of course two steps from the beach.

Great condo!

Excellent location and amenities on property. It was so easy to just show up and enjoy ourselves without needing to bring our own kitchen accessories or beach gear! The unit is even bigger than it appears or is described online! There was an extra room with a daybed that caught us by surprise. Was also very toddler friendly and comfortable for all ages in our group. Would love to come back again soon!

Easy to book. Communication good. The listing led us to believe we had view and beach access from the property. We were in the building behind the building with the “view”. Listing also stated bikes were complimentary and you really only had an hour free. That was the only complaint.

A winter’s stay right on the beach

Celebrating and splurging for a special occasion, we didn’t mind the cold. This is old Florida — unhurried, restful and beautiful, just an hour from Tampa. Extra parking us available one mile away. Check out Beach Bistro just steps away for a delicious vegan meal (other fare available) easily worth the expense.

Beautiful space, so fun, but not fully accurate description

We loved the property! It was so close to the beach, had beautiful views, and was updated nicely! The only issues we had were with the cleaning and the description. We arrived 90 minutes after check in and it looked like it had been cleaned and then someone came in and made coffee and used the pans. The pans were all dirty and there was coffee grinds still in the coffee maker; also in the cabinets were old snacks and peanut butter smeared on a cabinet door. In the main bedroom bathroom, there were a bunch of towels shoved into the cabinet and we couldn't tell if they were dirty or clean. The listing does say there are basics in the kitchen and that it sleeps 8, but that's not accurate; there weren't enough coffee mugs for 7 adults, we had to buy paper plates because there weren't enough plates/bowls, and only 1 trash bag for the kitchen. It would be nice if they had spare pillows, towels, beach towels, and sheets in the house. There wasn't one spare blanket anywhere, so we had to keep contacting the property manager for everything (things arrived quickly when we did ask for them). The full bed could fit two children but definitely not two adults, so we were lucky that we brought an air mattress. There was enough room for everything for sure, but the description should probably be more accurate so guests can plan accordingly. I would love to stay here again though because the location couldn't be beat!

Love this property

This is our second time staying at mainsail. We love these rentals. I will say unit 12 seems more bare compared to the last unit we stayed here. There was minimal kitchen accommodations. We like to cook on our vacations and go out only a few times. This unit had minimal cookware to cook “at home”. The staff is great. Especially manny. Location you can’t beat. The beach bistro is now open, which last time we stayed here it was under construction, this makes parking at night difficult as their valet has cars lined up to be parked and you have access to wait to park until they park the cars they have lined up. Mainsail gives you access to a great pool and hot tub, you can utilize their kayaks which was great. Beds were comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again.

This was an awesome unit! Great location, very clean and well-maintained spacious bedrooms plenty of towels fresh clean linens we will definitely be back! The only suggestions I would make would be a little softer pillows
 Pillows were brick hard, new but brick hard. Needs more items in the kitchen. There were only three wineglasses very few drinking glasses, plenty of plates and silverware. Really bare cabinets for the number of guests that can stay.

Superb quality and excellent location.

Unit #12 was even better than we expected. The pictures do not give the full details. This unit has so much space and was so convenient to the beach. The outside deck, from the living room, allowed for early morning coffee and evening laughs. This was my favorite spot unless I was sitting on the beach. The staff was incredibly friendly. The assigned parking spaces were another added bonus. The beach chairs and umbrellas were great. This unit was far better than we imagined. Walking right around the corner of the building to the beach allowed for lots of beach time and then a quick walk back to the town house. Highly recommend this unit. There were 6 adults and we all had plenty of room. Thanks for an amazing AMI vacay.

Perfect Beach Retreat

Opportunity to enjoy family time here. Resort itself is very well equipped, with chairs, umbrellas, bikes, kayaks, etc. provided. Many multi generational groups here together which was great. Beach access is convenient with small kids. Incredible sunsets were viewed! The stairs were a challenge with our little guys, but we managed. A gas grill by the pool was super convenient for preparing meals. Dining out with children was definitely a challenge here on AMI. The condo was well equipped, I would just suggest some plastic wine glasses, cups, etc. for use around the patio and pool. We had to buy solo cups, but reusable would have been much better. Manny and Mary do a great job communicating with guests as property managers. We will be back!

What a perfect spot

We stayed in Unit 12 for just over 3 weeks and loved every minute. We had a mix of friends and family throughout our time there and this unit was perfect for all combinations. Mary and Manny were so responsive to everything. The first few days we had a problem with the internet and they were totally on it and got things fixed so 3 of us could work remotely. We all thought the unit was bigger than the photos portrayed, which is usually the opposite of what happens with stock photos. Loved the location too. It is about a mile away from both the Sandbar and AMI Beach cafe, so it was awesome to walk the beach for drinks or meals and avoid the difficult parking on the island. Pine Ave is a short bike ride away for shopping and dining. Definitely recommend this spot.

Great for a weekend away

My aunts, best friend & mom flew in to celebrate my 40th birthday. The house was perfect. Plenty of room & great location. Deck was awesome. Parking was a little tight.
