Room needed an upgrade, furniture looked old. With the cost of the room and resort fees, they could of giving us an updated room. Hyatt is loosing their touch. They used to welcome you(if you're a repeat customer)with a lei. Now you have to buy it from a vending machine. I will not patronize this establishment again. I'll wait for the new Hilton.

This hotel is in the best/most convenient area. Super walkable, the beach right across the street, super walkable, lots of food options on the main street in front of the hotel as well as 2 blocks behind the hotel on another main road. The hotel itself is pretty amazing and huge! The room is was sooo big and the view from the room was great. In one direction you could see the ocean/beach and the other direction you was city, and trees and mountains. The hotel has different food and shopping options. There is a pool that I didn’t use, since the beach is across the street but you are able to get towels from a vending machine, that you need to return the towels. They have a chip of some sort and when you return them, the machine somehow reads the chip and tells you the return was process. You can borrow a beach chair for free from the pool desk and just need to return it by 9pm to not be charged for it. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will hopefully be returning in the very near future!

Their cultural activities added value to the family vacation. The market place and its close proximity to the beach, International Market and shopping areas was just perfect! A bit pricey, but it’s worth it. It was safe and clean.

I’ve been to Waikiki 7 times and this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at. The room and the view were incredible. The Bell Hop, Gary, was lovely. Will definitely be staying here from now on.

Service personnel from the front desk and housekeeping to the bellboys that helped us with our luggage on check-in and check-out were all very professional and extremely accommodating at all times. The only snag during our entire stay was a traffic jam that slightly delayed our drive back to the airport on our way home. Not the hotel's fault.

One of the biggest inconveniences during our stay was the laundry situation. The hotel only has a single small laundry room for the entire building, with about five machines… two of which were out of order. The line was consistently long every day, and we were only able to get one load done during our entire stay. It definitely could use more machines or better maintenance to meet guest needs.
