The world famous Ilikai Hotel is a resort type property with hotel rooms and condos, 2 pools, shops and restaurants.
Condos and hotel rooms typically rent for $200 to $300 per night, but you can rent this upgraded unit for much less during our Special times.

You will love this fabulous oceanfront / ocean view condo on Waikiki Beach. The condo has been remodeled with the highest quality Hawaiian décor for beauty and comfort.

The Unit
It includes a comfy king bed, a full-sized super comfy dual recliner couch, a 42' flat screen TV with premium cable service (HBO and many free sports and other channels), DVD player, free high-speed internet and free long distance calling to the US mainland, Canada and many other countries from your land line phone, and an in-room safe.

The AC has Global Plasma Solution electronic air cleaner and the unit will be super cleaned and ozone sanitized before your arrival.

Fully Equipped Kitchen
The fully equipped kitchen has a full-sized range and refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee-maker, blender, rice cooker, stainless steel pots and pans, tableware and even tea and coffee supplies and spices. The sink is equipped with Reverse Osmosis purified drinking water.

Unique Extras
Unique to the Ilikai, this unit has been remodeled with plenty of storage, an extra closet and cabinets, so that you can stow away your possessions and really be on vacation. It even comes equipped with beach gear, such as a cooler, umbrella, boogie boards, snorkel gear and other beach toys.

Super Lanai
There is also a great lanai with dining table and chairs, a futon couch and lounger with great view of the lagoon, beach and surf.

A Great Location in the Ilikai
The condo is in a great spot in the Ilikai, on the 16th floor, it gets morning sun and afternoon shade for comfortable temperatures all day. It is high enough to get a great view and you don't hear any street noise. (The small street down below has speed bumps, so just gets slow moving traffic anyway.)

The Famous Ilikai
The iconic Ilikai Hotel. The original and also the newer Hawaii Five O TV series have filmed opening shots and several episodes here. Sip a tropical Drink from your Lanai while you enjoy the views of the ocean and the lagoon.

Steps to the Beach, Shops and more.....
You are only steps down a causeway from the lobby level to Waikiki beach and a short walk to the beautiful, shady Ala Moana Beach Park: a great place for a morning jog, swim or walk and great bike trails as well.

It is a short walk in one direction to the large and fabulous Ala Moana Shopping Center outdoor mall and in the other direction from central Waikiki luxurious Lewer's St. shopping. There are also convenient shuttles and buses stopping right in front to transport you to all attractions.

The Ilikai is right next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village, and there are a lot of activities like the luau and the boisterous pools, and even the Hale Koa near by where there are concerts. So please be aware there will be noise, which dies down after 10pm. An big noise on Friday night with fireworks. You will have an excellent view from the Lanai.

Did we mention the View?
You are looking at the lagoon, the beach, the surfers right out in front, boats coming and going from the harbor and even a spectacular fire works display, which can be viewed from your lanai every Friday evening.

The feeling of Hawaii
The expansive lobby and gardens of the Ilikai evoke a wonderful Hawaiian feeling. There are also a nightly torch lighting ceremony and Hawaiian Hula Shows on the lobby level by the popular garden restaurant.

Relaxing condo

The property was just as described and had many extras to make your stay very comfortable. Beach equipment and towels, a full pantry with plenty of condiments with herbs and spices to cook, a very comfortable bed and so many little attentions it makes this place a fully included property where you just need to stow away your suitcase and enjoy Waikiki. The personnel working at the Ilikai were very helpful and so courteous, the location is just perfect to enjoy all this beautiful city has to offer. I will gladly come back to this unit, and I had no issues with this very nice unit. Mahalo for a very relaxing stay at your property

Another great experience at the Ilikai

The condo was a great place to stay and exceeded our expectations, most of all the splendid view over the lagoon from the lanai. It was really fully equipped, with all the kitchen utensils we needed. Guidance on how to use or find everything is posted all over the place. There was a problem with the TV at the start of our stay, but it was quickly solved after contacting our host Carola, who responded promptly to our request. The condo's lanai is also an ideal location for watching the magnificent fireworks on Friday evening.

Great condo with spectacular view

The unit was exactly described in the listing. Well furnished, clean and stocked with all the necessary supplies. The view from the Lanai is spectacular. The property is well maintained and in one of the iconic resort which has all the facilities, two pools, Sun deck, several eateries. security service. The location of the property is close to all the facilities. We stayed in this lovely condo for 4 months and enjoyed every day of our stay. The hosts (Carola and Robert) are excellent. We will be returning again in the winter.

The 5 star reviews on this condo baffle me. I think of 5 stars as being perfect. This condo is not perfect! That being said, the location is great, the view is great, the bed was very comfortable and the price was great. The building is old and the condo needs updating.

Great Stay

We had a great stay here. The location has a pretty view of the ocean. We spent every morning and night before bed out on the balcony. The bed is comfortable and so is the couch. The bathroom was well stocked: tp, first aid, medicine, and shampoo incase you forgot yours. There were a couple of snacks left in the fridge and we left a frozen pizza for the next guests to enjoy. There are beach toys, chairs, snorkel gear, and boogie boards. The snorkel gear isn't new but I assume you could boil or Clorox them. We bought our own. The chairs are tearing so we didn't use them, and there isn't a beach cart. If you want a beach chair you can rent some on the beach. The elevators do take awhile to catch after 9AM. The wait got pretty bad at times so people would ignore the covid-19 policy and cram inside. I recommend leaving early if you need to be somewhere at a certain time. If you get a car, parking is either valet or self parking in a garage a block away. Overall, we enjoyed this property!

25th Anniversary Stay

We stayed for a week and loved the amenities and location. You can’t see the sunset from the lanai, but the view of the lagoon and ocean was nice. The lanai faced the other hotels and many of the other guests yelled, whooped and hollered on their balconies to make an echo which was really loud and annoying for the first 4 nights. We had to keep the doors closed to sleep. The doors open almost the entire length of the room which was awesome. There was everything we needed for the beach including a wagon to carry it all (even ice packs) and there were lots of condiments and spices. We would recommend staying again and liked the proximity of the beach.

Unforgettable vacation!

The minute I walked into the condo I felt like a Hollywood movie star who is on a shoot in Waikiki. I loved the classy "Hollywood chic" decor with the fancy wine glasses, mirrors, crystalline lamps, and old school movie posters. Little did I know that Ilikai itself was the one that was featured in Hawaii Five-O! Add to that one morning running into a Hawaii Five-O crew shooting a scene right at the lagoon that is seen from the lanai. Incredible memories, sunsets and walks along one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Easy access to shopping, restaurants and excursions. The owners were really easy to communicate with and very helpful with any questions and requests that I had. It was truly an unforgettable time.

Perfect Hawaiian Vacation Spot!

What a wonderful place! The hosts made it extremely easy to check in and were available for questions at a moments notice the route the entire trip. We loved the condo accommodations and the gorgeous condo itself. It was extremely cozy and had everything you would need - from shampoo to an ironing board. The view from the lanai is absolutely stunning! The bed is comfortable, the couches comfortable and the shower is fantastic! This was the absolute perfect place for my fiance and I to relax on vacation, and prep before my cousin's wedding. Is extremely centrally located and quick walking distance to shopping and food. It's also a very quick Uber for car ride from more expensive shopping. I would 100% recommend this condo for anyone looking for a relaxing and fun vacation spot!

Oahu perfection

Great location. Awesome managers. Cool pools and beach access was super easy. Walked Ala Moana park every morning about 7 km route. Mall ,restaurants all easy walking distance

It was exactly what I needed!

My husband and I came for a business trip that was being held at the Hilton Hawaiian village. We found this gem for a third of the cost with way more to offer and it was about the same distance to the conference center. The place was beautiful, clean, and had everything we wanted and much more. The view was excellent and the fireworks show was insane on friday night. We will be staying here next year if it's not booked!!

Condo was very well equipped with extras, the only thing it needed was a little blue tooth speaker or some way to play music, but on the other hand it was very quiet and I enjoyed that more.

Our stay at the Ilikai Hotel 1638

Could not have been happier with the room, and its location looking out over the lagoon pool and the Friday night fireworks.. Just perfect, hope to stay there again should we return for a 4th visit... 10 stars!!

Close to everything. Nice place for a couple.

First of all, we would like to Thank Robert & Carola for sharing there Hawaiian condo with us. Condo was as described, kitchen, well supplied, lanai, comfortable bed, shower, and great view of ocean , and lagoon, shampoo, and some amenities on site., were an added bonus. Loved all the brochure information, and maps. We would like to make a few suggestions, being we love to travel, and we often bring our phones, cameras, and IPads, it would be nice to have some USB plug ins for devices, due to limited outlets. Also we went to use snorkeling gear, and small cooler bag, and they were really dirty, we ended up cleaning cooler bag, but didn’t use snorkeling gear. Some of the items in closet, such as mats, and boogie boards were also dirty, and sticky with some substance. Being a cleaning freak, I noticed some heavy oiling resin on side of refrigerator, as well as front of kitchen cabinets, I tired cleaning them, however they were pretty sticky with residue. If you want to be close to the lagoon, and boat docks, shopping, lots of food restaurants, and within walk-in district to pretty much anything, this place is for you. We also got to watch the Luau show from our Lanai. We will definitely stay again. Please note Parking can be a little tricky, and a little pricy, so make sure you look around, or find something inexpensive, staying 6 days at $23, adds up.

Not bad

It says it sleeps 3 but the couch does not pull out into a bed and it was super uncomfortable. It’s good for 2 people. Location is not super central. Waikiki beach is 20 minute walk. Other than that, for price wise it was good.
