Peaceful Lake Cushman Cabin, Walk to Lake, Cozy Wood Stove and Huge Deck

Welcome to The Hideaway — your cozy Lake Cushman getaway tucked among the evergreens.

Whether you’re planning days at the lake, exploring Olympic National Park, hiking nearby trails or simply looking for a peaceful place to slow down, The Hideaway is a comfortable home base for your Pacific Northwest escape.

Our two-bedroom cabin sleeps up to 6 guests and is especially well suited for families, couples traveling together and small groups. Spend the morning with coffee on the large gated deck, head out for a day of swimming or exploring, then come home for dinner, games and a cozy evening by the wood-burning stove.

THE SPACE

The cabin has two comfortable bedrooms with flexible sleeping arrangements:

• Bedroom 1 — queen bed and twin bunk bed
• Bedroom 2 — queen bed and twin trundle bed with two twin mattresses

Both bedrooms offer a queen bed for adults, while the additional twin beds make the setup particularly convenient for families. Maximum occupancy is 6 guests.

The main living area is designed for spending time together, with comfortable seating, games and movies for quieter evenings at the cabin. A wood-burning stove adds an extra dose of PNW coziness after a cool day outdoors.

The kitchen is stocked with the essentials for preparing meals at home, and there’s space to gather together for meals and games.

Need to stay connected? The Hideaway has fiber-optic internet and a dedicated workspace, making it easy to fit in a little remote work between adventures.

THE DECK

One of our favorite features is the large, fully gated deck surrounded by evergreens. Start your morning outside with a cup of coffee, enjoy a meal in the fresh air or settle in and relax after a day of exploring.

The gated design is especially convenient for families and guests traveling with an approved pet.

LAKE DAYS MADE EASY

The Hideaway is not waterfront, but a family-friendly Lake Cushman community park and swimming area is approximately a 7-minute walk from the cabin.

Your stay includes a guest park pass, and we’ve stocked the cabin with some of the things that make getting to the lake easier, including:

• Wagon
• Beach towels
• Cooler bags
• A selection of life jackets

Bring your swimsuits and spend the day swimming, relaxing along the water or launching a kayak or paddleboard.

EXPLORE THE AREA

The Hideaway makes a great base for experiencing everything this corner of Washington has to offer. Spend your days enjoying Lake Cushman, exploring Hoodsport and Hood Canal, or heading into the nearby Staircase area of Olympic National Park for hiking and sightseeing.

Then leave the day’s adventures behind and return to your own quiet cabin among the trees.

GOOD TO KNOW

The Hideaway is located within the Lake Cushman community, and guests are asked to follow community rules and be considerate of our neighbors.

The cabin is not directly waterfront; lake and swimming access is through designated Lake Cushman community parks.

Cell service can vary by carrier in the area, but the cabin has fiber-optic internet.

We’re surrounded by Pacific Northwest forest, so wildlife, insects, pine needles, pollen and other signs of nature are part of the Lake Cushman experience.

Come for the lake, stay for the quiet, and make The Hideaway your home base for your next Lake Cushman adventure.
