Really enjoyed our stay. Loved waking up in the morning, drinking a cup of coffee while watching nature (birds, geese, ducks, squirrels). Will definitely come back again when it is warmer and we can enjoy the water

Couples Retreat - Stellar Outdoor Area

The property is great for those looking for a weekend getaway. Has a small kitchen, fridge and mini fridge as well as air fryer. There’s a small foyer area with a desk. The sleeping area & bathroom are accurate to the posted property. Spent ample time outside, making a fire, playing cornhole & cooking. When not spending time in the wonderful backyard area the tv has access to all streaming services. Got to experience what is great about Hot Springs as it is continently located. Deborah was a great host who is stellar at communicating and providing any assistance or recommendations if needed. Great weekend spent recharging

Deborah was a fantastic communicator and left thoughtful gifts (chocolates, smores kit) around the apartment for us because it was our ten-year anniversary. The apartment was clean and well-stocked.

Great stay

Me and my wife just spent our honeymoon here. It was great! Host was more than great, she meet us and gave us a tour of the property. It was great cause she show us how to use everything. We mostly used the hot tub while we were there but having the option to use a fire pit was great. Would recommend this place and we do plan to stay again in the future.

A Disappointing Stay

While this property boasts a charming interior and a cozy atmosphere, our recent stay was overshadowed by a handful of significant issues.The primary reason we chose this property was its advertised amenities, particularly the private boat dock and hot tub. Unfortunately, neither was operational during our stay. This was a major disappointment, as these amenities were a significant factor in our decision-making process.Additionally, communication with the owner was primarily through text message, which made the check-in process less smooth than expected. Direct communication through the VRBO app would have been more convenient.While the property itself is aesthetically pleasing, the lack of advertised amenities and less-than-ideal communication significantly impacted our overall experience. We believe that either these amenities should have been clearly stated as unavailable or the rental rate should have been adjusted accordingly.

Not only was this the perfect weekend getaway for my husband and I, but the owner is absolutely wonderful! She didn’t just welcome us to her place but she went above and beyond on giving us ideas on places to go and things to do. She kept in communication throughout the weekend to make sure we had what we needed. The only thing we needed was more time to stay there lol.

Beautiful place to watch the eclipse. Quiet area right on the lake with a beautiful back yard and nice amenities. Host was very responsive to needs and questions and loved upstairs in the main house.

The propery was nice overlooking the water. Its out in the country, so it was very quite. Host was very accommodating. The view was great and the hot tub was relaxing. Although it was a downstairs suite, it felt like we had the whole house to ourselves.

We had a wonderful weekend here. The place was beautiful and cozy. Deborah was the perfect hostess and was always just a text away if anything was needed. Hot tub was very nice over looking the lake and loved all the games/kayak that she provides. No issues at all and highly recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful, quiet, romantic getaway.

Great place to stay! We had a couples get away without the kids. Loved the hot tub and the bluetooth speaker for us to use. I enjoyed cooking in our little kitchen and the regular size fridge. Deb left us a treat in there😉 Will definitely keep this place in mind for our next secret get away.❀

Great place for a couple

We had such a great stay at this rental. It was exactly as it is listed. The reviews are correct, the outside yard,deck,hot tub, lake and dock all add to this quaint couples retreat. The host could not have been more friendly and helpful and generous. She had an answer to every question and even helped my wife direct the boat trailer back. She made us an awesome lemon Bundt cake and picked fresh tomatoes and peppers from her garden for us to grill with our chicken on the grill. She was great. I would recommend this to any couple wanting to relax and enjoy the lake. The stay was amazing. If I had one con for the place is that the bay it is in is shallow, about 4 feet for most of the bay and in some areas 2 feet or less, no worries with a boat, plenty deep for it at the dock.

We loved our stay here. It was an easy drive from our home. We were able to bring our pet who is very old. It is a very relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The lake is gorgeous. We enjoyed meeting our hostess, Deborah. She made sure we had everything that we needed. We hope to visit again soon.

Great getaway spot!

Everything was perfect! The host was great. The property was cozy and relaxed, perfect for our anniversary stay. Woke up and drank coffee and read a book by the lake. Grilled steak and had a steak and egg breakfast. Relaxed in the hot tub. Just a great time. Highly recommend.
