OK but...nothing more

I booked a room for 2 days. It was quite big and comfortable. But the AC is too close from the bed and not automatic, the bathroom is not very clean (some small bugs) and the smell is quite bad. About the breakfast, the choise is very small and you have to do all thing. It is a "self-service". I think the room is enough to sleep after a long and tired day.

Room 18 at the Rodeway Inn & Suites was so yucky, I checked out immediately and went elsewhere. The person who checked me in refused to refund my money. It smelled like mold. It was basically clean, but old and neglected. Old flooring, counters, paint. The lamp next to the bed was missing a lightbulb. It had a weird piece of tissue paper stuffed inside the shade, and when I touched it, sheetrock-y powder fell onto the table below. The bathroom faucet dripped. There was an empty vestigial soap dispenser on the wall, for some reason. The place was dark. Not cute. No TV, but a remote control, for some reason. I wondered if I'd get bedbugs there, so I lifted up the fitted sheet. The mattress was old, yellowed, and I didn't want to touch it, let alone sleep on it. The room was the opposite of comforting and relaxing. The owners of this place need to find some capital, somewhere, and invest in bringing it up to a respectable standard.

I remember that place being really well, kepted years ago. Now, it just looks like a place for the homeless. And every time i've gone, i've had to switch rooms at least three times. M s a parties is I'll probably still go back because of the prices. The staff was not like they weren't helpful.It's just the place was not well kept

Nice place. But the staff have no respect for guests very rude and disrespectful. I was at this hotel due to my dad falling and breaking his hip. I was at the hotel and ended up going to the hospital to check on him when I got back around 1 AM my key card at work when I went to the front desk to get my key card to work the night person or manager owner. Whoever it was rudely said that I did not pay for my room and would not even call Expedia to verify or to find out what was wrong with it the time I got back in my room it had been about four hours so it was like 5 AM in the morning when another lady I guess the manager‘s wife came and actually looked at the paper or the email that was sent by Expedia nice property horrible staff

Gets worse every step of the way.

Manager was rude. Gave me my key, pointed in the general direction of the unit and said “cable isn’t working” as he walked away. I get to the unit and have to shoulder check the door to unstick it, this is when the door handle inside flys off and into the middle of the room. Later I find out that the only way to use the handle to get out of the room is by holding the latch with my pocket knife. Next up I kill 2 roaches, saw several in the hour I was willing to stay. I go to check out the bathroom and see the sink is stained yellow so I turn on the water to find out that it is also yellow. And another glance over, used condoms in the bathroom trash bag. Luckily had my knife to escape the room, literally.

This hotel is a disgrace. Smelled like rotten food. Bugs on the floor (roaches?) and in the bed (bedbugs for sure). The whole room was dirty. Plus no trash can and only one towel. Avoid at all cost.

Avoid this hotel at all costs!

A ZERO star rating option was not available or that is what I would have rated this hotel. I booked this hotel for a quick over-night stay for my husband because he was visiting our son the the ICU in Houston and we live out of town. We had a nicer hotel booked for the next day (when I was arriving); however, my husband left a day earlier and needed something close by for a little shut eye. He checked in to go shower & freshen up, as he planned to go back to the hospital and return to the hotel later to sleep. He showered quickly and left the hotel, as he said that the hotel had a roach infestation. Needless to say, I paid for a shower, not a place for anyone to sleep.

Slum lord hotel.

Arrived to check in ..at about 12pm no one in office. called office phone number about 4 times and another couple came up to check in rung bell and also call office and no one would answer. Final someone arrived and opened window to check in. After check in gave me a room in back t.v. not working , roaches crawling on entrance door fan in bathroom running to air the smell out. filthy bathtube. Went to front adked for better room. Gave me better room but still nasty. kitchen sink drain smell bad because stopped up.. roaches running around rim of toilet with used tissue on toilet tank. Slum lords. Pictures not accurate on web.
