Our second visit to this apartment in a beautiful beach area. The apartment is beautiful, well equipped and well managed by David and his sister Marie-Noelle. There are a selection of good restaurants in the town and the small supermarket across the road is well stocked. We hope to return in '25 for another visit.

Beautiful apartment in terrific location! Just as the pictures show. Extremely well outfitted with anything you could need. Meticulously clean. Communication with David was great. Beautiful Condo close to the beach

We truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo. David and Marie-Noelle were easy to communicate with, and the condo had all you needed for a great stay. From the welcome wine to beach chairs and towels. We hope to be back someday!

Wonderful flat in the perfect location in Portugal!

What an amazing place for our first visit to Portugal! Casa Indigo is a beautiful rental. We were amazed with beautiful Praia Da Barra and enjoyed swimming and watching the surfers almost every day of our stay. Will definitely return as soon as we can go back to Portugal.

Great location for staying put and traveling to nearby cities

The apartment was extremely secure, had all the comforts needed for great meals and sleep. The beach town was cute, this time of year was quiet. We visited Obidos, Nazare, other locations south from here. We visited Braga and Porto and the Douro valley also. Great meals at La Mozzarella and at Barra Beach Club, the almond tempura shrimp at Blue Fin was also great. Would love to return!

Superb Location and Accomodation

We spent 10 days at this very attractive & comfortable property in Barra, Portugal. The apartment was spacious & well-equipped with reliable high-speed Internet, HDTV, comfortable bed with high-quality linens, and a full kitchen outfitted with everything available for even ambitious cooks. The host's sister & niece met us to orient us to the apartment & check us out on our departure. The location was outstanding for us. Because we walk 2-3 hours a day, Barra offered a wide variety of different venues, all beautiful - ocean, village, tidal flats - and all with wide pedestrian boulevards. Barra has plenty of commercial establishments without feeling touristy - grocery stores, restaurants, bakeries, other shops - but is also a 10-minute drive to the Averia Center mall with both Pingo Doce & Continente supermarkets, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will consider a return to this property, our best recommendation.

Fantastic!

I cannot say enough about this property. We loved it! We went for walks every morning on the boardwalk which is 2 minutes walk from the apartment. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was very comfy. Best of all was the cleanliness of the place. Marie-Noelle greeted us and was very welcoming. We would live here permanently. Bravo!!!

Cases Indigo is indeed a beautiful apartment. It is comfortable, spacious, beautifully decorated & very well equipped. The beds are really comfortable & the bathrooms more than adequate with a huge supply of towels that are large enough to wrap right round you. We rented this apartment for the whole of September 2022 as our daughter lives in Barra just around the corner & we wanted to spend a long time with her. We also had friends & family come out to stay with us for week stays during the month we were there. Many a family meal was cooked in the lovely kitchen & eaten around the magnificent dining table. The apartment has absolutely everything you might possibly need for your stay - the kitchen has every sized pot & pan & many gadgets. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, & dryer so you can do your laundry. Iron & table top ironing board. For entertainment there is a huge tv & there are board games, a dvd collection, even the beach towels, windbreak & umbrellas are provided. The location is great too with the beach literally over the road & many good bars & restaurants within walking distance. There is a well stocked Continente supermarket opposite the apartment where you can buy most things including fresh bread. The host David & his sister Marie-Noelle are wonderful- truly welcoming & helpful & if you have any requests or problems nothing is too much trouble for them. I would thoroughly recommend anyone to stay in Casa Indigo and we ourselves will definitely be doing so again.

Awesome property!

This was a wonderful place to stay. The apartment was fully supplied and beautifully decorated. It was well located for excursions around Aveiro and Porto, and easy to access. The manager dealt with any glitches quickly and obligingly. We would recommend it for anyone wanting to spend a week in that area.

A Great Stay!

Totally enjoyed staying in this beautifully decorated apartment. So clean and well equipped with absolutely everything, lots of kitchen supplies, and very comfortable beds. We found the large binder with all info. pertaining to the apartment most useful. The host were wonderful, leaving us a couple of Portuguese wines. We could not have asked for a better location with a little grocery store across the street and little shops a block away. We were across the street from the sand dunes and the ocean. How convenient is that!! We would highly recommend it!
