Beautiful location right on the beach, only fault we experienced was the lack of cleaning! We were there 3 nights and never had cleaning service come to our room once. We had to go to the front desk to get more toilet paper and coffee. We put the sign out two days to have the room serviced but no such luck. Disappointing considering the amount we paid for the room.

The A/C leaked into the floor and did not get below 73 degrees in the room. They closed the pool 2.5 hours early for sea turtles. The pool sits between the towers not on the beach front. Bit the tiki bar is lit like a Christmas tree on the beach front. Everything else was pleasing.

Thank you Kelly for taking the time to provide feedback, it is very important to us. We do apologize for the challenge with the AC unit and we will ensure this has been rectified. In regards to the pool, it is open from dawn until dusk. The closing time of the pool just depends on the time of year and when it gets dark. In order to keep the pool open after dark, there is required lighting needed by the state. To meet those requirements the hotel would not be in compliance for the sea turtle regulations. While the tiki area is lit, the actual lights are up underneath the tiki and the focal point of the bulb is not seen from the beach. I tried to check in 20 minutes past the check in time of 4pm, and was told there wasn’t a room available yet, but they would call my when it was. Both of my friends who checked in immediately before me got their rooms right away so I went to my friends room. He had chunks of paint dangling from the ceiling and lots of different patches in it, but had a nice view of the pool and could see the ocean from his balcony. Around 6:30, I still hadn’t received a phone call saying my room was ready but I went and checked anyways. They say they forgot to call me and it was ready then. I got to my room, and it smelled like dirty socks. Not strongly, but a definite odor in the room. The only other problem with the room was the bugs that crawled out of the shower drain the last day I was there. For the property, I twice went to the restaurant. First time there was a group of approximately 12 people so I can forgive the slow service, but half the table had their plates of food, ate them and had their dishes cleared before the other half even got theirs. When the food finally did come, it was cold. I went to breakfast morning if check out, saw there was only a few people in there so I figured I had time to eat before going to airport. It took almost an hour to get food out to us after ordering. For the price of the room and the restaurant, I expected a lot more. Overall, a disappointing stay.

We arrived on a Sunday and could not find a parking space due to the number of people at the patio bar even though we were charged for parking daily. The bar crowd could park for free and use the entire lot. We got to our room which had a good view of the ocean & pool. Unfortunately the noise level from the band outside at the bar was ridiculous. Luckily it was a Sunday so the bad stopped playing at 7:00. However every night people were out on the patio & pool area partying even though the area closed at sunset. The hotel did nothing to stop this. The shower fixture in the bathroom was coming off the wall. The drain in the shower was clogged. The sink vanity was tiny and there was no additional space to use if someone was in the bathroom. One day the hotel was replacing a transformer and we had to be out of the room for 5 hours. There was no compensation for the inconvenience. Definitely our first and last time staying here.
