Price Gouge!

Needed to book a second night but because of a NASCAR event at the Indianapolis motor Speedway they price gouged their rates almost triple and that's what it was as a blatant price gouge I will never stay at that fleabag again

This hotel was just ok - it served the purpose of sleeping and showering. Lots of places nearby to grab a drink and food. However, furnishings were old. Drawers on cabinet would not stay closed and the inside refrigerator cabinet was damaged making the refrigerator wobble. The absolute worst thing (and stay would’ve been much better if this problem was cleared up) is there was a strong chemical odor throughout the facility that was worse in the room and hallway. Smelled to us like bug spray. That made the stay very uncomfortable.

The staff is wonderful. Continental breakfast was amazing and fresh! I can't explain it in words, but I felt like family welcoming me to my stay. When I didn't need room service but asked for towels and a few replenishments, they were Johnny on the spot with them. I am so used to other properties having their staff roll their eyes and give me such a hard time about these same requests. It's like pulling teeth with other hotels. But not HERE!!! Sonesta was the best hotel I could choose with the best rates and service in my opinion!!!

Sonesta Essential Indianapolis Airport Bad Hotel

This hotel Sonesta Essential Indianapolis Airport didnt look like what they have on the website the picture's look very elegant looking!! Once I got there its like we all was Catfish false advertisements which Makes the hotel looks really bad Room smells some of the rooms family booked had bedbugs and mold In the tub we where attending my daughter wedding this weekend very disappointed 😞 was of money Plus they didnt even used my discount for AAA dog's staying in the hotel Dog's barking all day!!!

Front desk received me promptly and had answers to all of my questions. Many food options nearby. I was able to leave my car in their lot for a full week for a small fee, way less than the airport parking. No shuttle but an Uber ride was only $15. Very happy!

The hallways smelled like bug spray, wall paper was peeling off the walls, rust all over in the bathroom. Not very many plugs to charge phone. Both nights kids above us ran around making so much noise, on the second night ended up calling down to see if they could get the people to stop, and they just called back saying they couldn’t reach the room. It was miserable unable to get any good sleep.
