This cozy rustic cabin with modern facilities and view of Lake Superior is the perfect base camp for exploring the Porcupine Mountain State Park, swimming in Lake Superior, or riding the trails! Newly remodeled with one queen bed that is open to the kitchen/living space. Linens are provided.

The property was very nice! One thing I really enjoyed about this property is how isolated you are. You have a neighbor (second rental property by same owners), but the privacy is still there. My partner and I really enjoyed the property and will be going back soon!

Enjoyed the Christmas holiday for a second year in this cabin. I can't say enough about the quality and care that the owners give to every detail of comfort and amenities. The place is spotless and expertly decorated.

We enjoyed our cozy relaxing stay - although only for a couple days, the sounds of the waves, the birds and the lovely little porch made it just what we needed. Looking forward to staying there again next time we're passing through the Porcupine mountains!

We enjoyed the ease of location to the Porcupine Mountains and other waterfall areas we were hoping to visit. The location was quiet and comfortable and the small touches, firewood and kindling for fire, lovely seasonal decorations, and comfortable bed was what we needed for our short stay. Thanks

Perfect Cozy Cabin
My husband and I did a fall colors tour across the UP and we absolutely loved staying at this cozy cabin. Matt and Brandi were fantastic hosts - Matt provided us with extra firewood and Brandi made the check in process smooth. We really enjoyed sitting around the campfire and listening to the sounds of the lake. Convenient location for Lake of the Clouds and Bonanza Falls. Would love to stay here again :)

Great location
We chose this property because of its location and proximity with the sights we were looking forward to seeing in the area. It did not disappoint us at all in that regard. We were right outside of the Porkies and close to Bonanza falls. It was an easy drive to see Bond Falls or drive into town. The cabin had most of the necessities that we needed for the stay, even wood for a fire at night. Our only issues were with the mattress (very uncomfortable-my wife preferred sleeping in the chair) and how strong the air freshener was upon arrival. Even after unplugging it and setting it outside the room still reeked. It was incredibly strong and remained after airing out the cabin for a few hours. We got home and our clothes still smelled like the cabin.
