Relax on the beach or enjoy your private garden, in this contemporary villa for 7 in the Perla Resort by Lalit Bay. The villa is ideal for friends or families who want to enjoy one of Albania’s favourite holiday destinations.

The open living space is on the ground floor. Large glass doors open out onto the partly shaded terrace which is furnished with a sofa and armchairs, so guests can relax, looking out over the garden. There are also 2 sun loungers for sunbathing in total privacy.

Inside the contemporary interior is furnished with two sofas and a flat-screen TV. Next to the French windows, there is a second dining table, which is separated from the modern kitchen by a granite breakfast bar. The kitchen is well-equipped, with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine and fridge/freezer.

Children will particularly enjoy the resort’s gardens, large shared swimming pool (additional fee) and a playground on the beach. Adults can relax on sun loungers by the pool whilst the children play in the water. The resort also has tennis and basketball courts (additional fee) as well as a bar and supermarket on site. There are sunbeds and parasols available on the beach, for a daily fee. On the seafront, by the resort, guests will find a range of restaurants and bars.

Stairs off the living area lead up to the three bedrooms.

Bedroom 1: The master bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a wardrobe and glass doors leading to a private balcony.
Bedroom 2: The second bedroom has a double bed and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 3: This airy bedroom has a double bed and a wardrobe.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts to an additional single bed.

Bathrooms
The apartment has two separate bathrooms, each with a shower, a basin, bidet and WC.

Location
The villa is just a few metres from the beach of Lalzit Bay, one of the most popular holiday destinations in Albania. There are 10km of sandy beaches which are particularly child-friendly beach and have good restaurants and bars. More active guests can enjoy scuba diving, jet-skiing, water-skiing and a children’s playground. For self-catering there are several good supermarkets close by, as well as some smaller shops.

There is plenty for visitors to do away from the coast, with many charming hill towns. Kruje (1 hour) is home to 5th-century Kruje Castle, as well as Kruje Bazaar which dates back to the 17th century. Here you can find authentic Albanian carpets, textiles and ceramics. There are also hiking routes in the surrounding mountains which range from the easy to the challenging. Adults will also enjoy a tour of Duka Winery and Vineyard (15-minutes drive) which includes wine tasting and a fine lunch.

Tirana is a 45-minute drive and makes a great day trip. It is an eclectic mix of Ottoman, Soviet and Fascist architecture. The city is easy to explore on foot. Blloku is an exciting, young area, full of cafés and interesting boutiques. The main square – Skanderbeg Square is a must-see. The city’s markets offer a window into everyday life. The New Market, Pazari Ri offers a wide range of local produce.

Tirana International Airport is just a 40-minute drive from the apartment.
