Beautiful location!

Wonderful setting, beautiful views. Not near grocery so come well stocked. Lovely coffee yurt a couple miles down the road. The house was as-advertised and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only hiccup was that we never received check-in instructions or an access code despite leaving emails and a voicemail 2 days in advance
so we drove 4 hours to a locked house on a weekend. Thankfully someone picked up when we called from the house and gave us the access code. I’m sure this was not a typical situation but just make sure you receive check-im instructions before make the drive. The property rental company never responded to our email about it.

Family Holiday

Beautiful house in a fairly remote location. Just on the edge of the water. Short drive to the stein inn which is the oldest pub on Skye. Loch Bay the only Michelin started restaurant on the island is next to the stein inn.Property as described in the listing.Lovely location, lovely house. Prompt response to an issue that we had by the property Manager Cat.

Tolles Haus in wunderschöner Lage

Tolles Haus im Norden von Skye. Das Haus liegt wunderbar am Meer. Super Lage zum Erkunden der Insel Skye. Das Haus ist sehr gerĂ€umig und es fehlte an nichts. Vor allem die KĂŒche und der Wohnbereich mit dem grossen Esstisch sind der Hammer. Wir wĂŒrden sofort wieder buchen.

Spectacular - Just as advertised!

Tigh Bata was an amazing gem. It was spacious on the inside with awesome views outside. The home was well equipped with toiletries and everything.needed for meals for our large family. Access was easy and appreciated given the remote location. And the staff was friendly and attentive. 5 Stars in every respect!

Amazing house with a spectacular view!

Amazing house with a spectacular view! This is a real treasure of a rental. The house is large, comfortable, clean, and well stocked. We immensely enjoyed our stay. Our only regret is that we should have stayed here more than two nights!!

Skye Wedding!

We chose this VRBO to stay for a few days while attending a wedding in Skye. Wish it was a few weeks! Great remote oceanside location with the highland coo's next door. Yurteancoffee close by and a quick trip to Dunvegan for restaurants.

Gorgeous views

Wow, what an amazing time for our family of two adults and two children! Being at the end of the earth with the wind and the sea, farms and cows to the side- it was just such a beautiful experience that words can't express it. We spent part of the time out exploring the hikes and Portree and part of the time just staying in playing board games and enjoying the house. We would love to return should we visit Scotland again.

Spectacular Location

This is a great place to spend some time getting together with your family and away from the rat race. The views nd location are second to none if you like water, cliffs, and sunsets. The inside is really great and get ready to draw straws for the master bedroom as the view is incredible Book it!

Beautiful and quiet location

Tigh Bata was the perfect place to wind down after a long week of traveling through Scotland! The views were unbelievable and beds were very comfortable. Great space for 3 couples. If we ever make it back to Skye, we will certainly stay here again!

FANTASTIC!!

I’ve traveled many places and this is by far the best property I’ve stayed in. Ben was excellent and responsive. The kitchen was stocked - there was absolutely nothing we needed. Remote location and stupendous views. Everyone in my party wants to return.

Stunning house, stunning location

Perfect house to watch the weather, the tides, the birds, the seals and the stars. Well equipped and welcoming, the house is lovely and warm, with everything you could want for a restful holiday.

We loved staying at Tigh Bata

The house is perfect for two families traveling together. It’s clean, laid out well, and the common spaces are large and it’s an enjoyable house to spend time together. Hard to beat the view too! There is a lengthy drive to reach the most popular sites. We didn’t mind remote at all.

New Year hideaway

Great space to get away from the normal busy routine, loved the views of the Loch. Enjoyed the house very much just as described in the listing , really enjoyed the time there with our group.

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting!

Traveled to Skye with a group of 9 and Tigh Bata was just perfect. It is very remote (a good thing, IMO) but Google Maps delivered us to front door without any problems. The setting is just breathtaking - right on a a rocky coast of the loch/bay with wide tidal swings. The house, itself, is impeccably clean and seems relatively new with a very modern kitchen. Nice TV in living room and bedrooms but I don't believe we ever turned them on. I enjoy birdwatching and loved sitting on the deck watching Northern Gannets diving into the bay. We all hope to return sometime.
