This hotel was absolutely terrible. The person who checked us in was unprofessional and blatantly disrespectful. We had paid for a two-bed room, but upon arrival, we were given a three-bed room with one large bed. This wasn’t an upgrade—they were clearly trying to offload a subpar room. The condition of the room was appalling: the floor was wet, and the entire space reeked, likely from someone having vomited and a poor attempt at cleaning it up. When we requested the room we had originally booked and paid for, we were told the hotel was fully booked and no changes could be made. The level of service and the state of the room were unacceptable. Frankly, the only thing this hotel deserves is the same as in the iconic movie "Home Alone 2", the used chewed gum.

The room we were given (3 bed) largely differed from the photos and was a lot smaller, with no offical window. The carpet was clearly worn and didn’t reflect 4 stars. The staff were friendly, although we were overwhelmed with the forceful requests at check in to attend one of their cruises, tours etc. Okay hotel overall.

Terrible Stay with Numerous Issues

I recently stayed at Danis Hotel in Istanbul's Old City, and my experience was far from satisfactory. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Extremely Unprofessional staff I have ever come across. The kitchen unit outside my room was extremely noisy and it was a constant noisy. And view outside of my window was pathetic. As there were no view only AC units I can see. When I sought assistance from the hotel staff regarding these issues, they were unresponsive and unhelpful, upon asking for a room change they said they can’t as they are fully booked which was a lie when I checked on websites I found the rooms were available. They clearly didn’t want to change the room. The toilet in my room was not properly installed, hanging to one side and they used makeshift support underneath. Broken Toilet Door Handle The handle on the toilet door was broken, making it challenging to close the door.
