We had a great stay at Sunshine Taksim Suite. The location was perfect for getting to public transportation, our room was clean, the view was great, the staff helpful and receptive, and the price was right.

This is a pretty decent place to stay. If you are a picky and high maintenance person you might not want to stay here. If you are solo traveling and mainly concerned with a generally comfortable place to rest up and get a good nights sleep, this is a great value. Not a new place, not fancy, no elevator so ask for floor one or two if you can. The area immediately surrounding is not scenic, but it is very close to the busy nightlife and dining street on the other side of the main 6 lane road a block away. Even though it’s not new or updated recently, the room has all you need and it is clean. Staff was extremely helpful with every need and then some, great guy for advice on the area and city.

The apartment is just like the pictures, with what I need and expect, such as a small open kitchen, washing machine and the balcony. But the host would bring me to another hotel nearby, but there has nothing I need and expect. Luckily the host bought me back to the BnB I booked and let me stay at where I booked.

I was scared when i arrived in the area ,the area is very old and the buildings are old .but once you get inside the building is very nice and clean . The place is close to everything ,taksim square,galata tower and many resturants and coffee shops .i will recommend this place to my friends and will stay there again .The only thing is that it can be noisy at night but i was on vacation so didnt mind .The staff was very good and always there for the guests .Thank you for making my stay great

I highly recommend!

It was the best experience of our trip with my son. The staff who greeted us were friendly, and everything we needed was in the room. If I come to Istanbul again, I would love to stay here. The host Ali was incredibly welcoming as soon as we walked in. He was extremely helpful throughout the whole stay and was really attentive to our needs. The location of the hotel is perfect walking distance to local shops and restaurants. The room was clean on arrival and it included basic amenities such as a washer, fridge and hair dryer. side note: there’s no elevator so if you are in a high floor keep that in mind. Overall, would highly recommend staying at Sunshine Taksim Suite. Thanks again Ali

Its not fancy by any means, but it is a nice clean little apartment with a washing machine, if you need to clean some clothes. The area around the Taksim Square is very good and has some night life.

Good location

We got there very late at night, 1.30am and i didn't notice that they sent me a msg asking when i will be checking in. Hence there was nobody to open the gate for us. Luckily they indicated their contact number and i was able to reach them. Check in was a breeze, area was quiet but very near eating joints at Taksim Sq. Owner was also friendly.

Good hotel close to Taksim Square

We were happy with our stay here and were warmly welcomed and the service from this family run hotel was very good. The room was spacious and clean and had all the amenities we could have wanted. Location was great to have an easy walk to Taksim Square and not far to walk to Galata tower or the ferry terminal. From the outside the street and the hotel is very humble looking but it is surprisingly good on the inside. I’d recommend to anyone on a budget looking for good accom in a good location

The owners were very nice and kind; the apartment is nice and very good value. Location is perfect. Washing machine in room is a really nice bonus !! We definitely recommend this hotel for long and short stays 🙂
