The beds were comfortable, but we had a fridge that wasn’t working properly & a door lock that didn’t lock fully. Maintenance was informed and told us they’d have someone come back the next day to fix the door but never did. There were also nail clippings on the floor outside of the bathroom from a prior guests stay. We did receive a small credit for the inconvenience, but we were disappointed with the room with how expensive it was to stay there for 2 nights.

The rooms were clean, quiet and very comfortable. It was nice to have a refrigerator and a microwave. The food in the lounge was sub par given the location and expense. The location was good as it was away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The hot tub outside was very rough concrete and it was hard to sit on it. There were no streaming services available on the television. Breakfast was the usual fare available at most hotels,

All staff were helpful and accommodating. Lodge was very attractive with a Northwoods feel, having various wooden carved animals throughout. Lodge also provided a full breakfast each morning for only $5. We did not have a rental car, but were able to easily navigate the START bus. Hotel also has shuttle, but we did not find it necessary to use it. Would stay here again.

A very mediocre hotel especially for the price I paid for the room. I was looking forward to using the pool but the water was dirty with things floating it, and the indoor - outdoor door of the pool was closed so the attractiveness of this feature was not there. and the hot tubs were always full when I tried to use them. It’s a hotel for large tour bus groups so if that’s your thing then enjoy. The breakfast was decent but again large bus loads of people getting their breakfast. Not an upscale experience for the price I paid. I guess I was expecting a nicer, more 4-5 star experience. I also was hoping my room had a view but it was of the parking lot mostly. It l was a very average hotel. The staff was nice, the room was clean so I have no issues with any of that.

The view and location of this property was awesome. It was very convenient to all of the places we wanted to visit. The staff and layout of this property was great. They had a free shuttle to town to go shopping or you could walk to to the shops in town. This was the cleanest town I have ever visited. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable.

Stayed two nights...informed front desk that I came across toe nail clippings and food debris on carpet morning after first night. They promised housekeeping would come through. I said, only a vacuum is necessary. Low & behold, no cleaning. I checked out next morning and once again complained and only received a lowly 'Sorry', from the same woman. BTW - These rooms were extremely expensive for post-Labor Day. P.S. During a "$5 breakfast" the last day an employee touched/realigned the bagels with bare hands....
