Elegant New England country inn with gas fireplace and beautiful amenities. Complimentary breakfast. Dinner restaurant very good, but not much for people with allergies. Room is stunning, well decorated and large. Comfortable bed. Welcome was over the top with friendliness and helpfulness - treated like an honored guest.

Just needs a better backing track

This hotel is blessed with professional, cheerful, helpful staff who do all they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. It's also a lovely building in a beautiful setting. Personally I found the constant background music in the public rooms an irritant. Everything from Bowie to Beethoven in the same soporific style and tempo. The place deserves better.

If I could give this property a higher rating than 5 stars, I would. It was exceptional. Everyone was very nice and accommodating, the room was very clean and well decorated and breakfast was delicious. We'll definitely visit again.
