Easy access to ALL the fun from this perfectly located home base on Amelia Island! With three bedrooms and two full baths, spacious living/dining area, outdoor shower and fire pit, it’s easy to relax while soaking up the sun and experiencing all the island has to offer! Only one mile from the oceanfront and two miles from the historic downtown, this recently renovated vacation home is in the right spot for anything you want to do or see while you visit the “hidden gem” that is Amelia Island!

Guests have access to the entire home and backyard. Garage access for washer and dryer, and to park bikes, a golf cart, or one vehicle. If you fly into JAX, you can easily rent a car there. Local rentals for beach cruiser bicycles or golf carts can be delivered to the home. (You can drive a golf cart on almost every road on the island.) Uber/Lyft and local taxi services are also available. Safety cameras are at all exits.

There is so much to see and do on the island- you won’t want to leave! Besides the amazing, clean beaches, there is the Palace Saloon - the oldest pub in Florida - and many other local establishments featuring live music and adult beverages. Several wonderful golf courses, five state parks, a Civil War-era fort, Egen’s Creek Greenway Park (walking distance from the house), absolutely amazing restaurants, several breweries, ice cream parlors, antique stores, art galleries
.the list goes on and on. Definitely something for everyone in Fernandina Beach!

An absolute Gem!

Gorgeous, stunning remodeled home, every detail is amazing inside! Just a quick two turns and you are at the beach, few minutes and you are strolling around the coolest downtown Marina area. Trees drape over the neighborhood, absolutely beautiful, feels like you are in another time.

Your island vibe home was a great location for us, close to the Greenway for biking, close to Publix & Walgreen’s, Story and Song, and not far from downtown restaurants. Your home is very comfortable and relaxing. We would stay here again.

A month stay in a great location

Perfect location, close to the beach, shopping and food areas. The inside of the house was remodeled, perfectly clean and had everything you needed to live in it for a month. The neighbors made us feel right at home and Cheryl was a very attentive host and made sure we were able to find the house and access everything to enjoy our stay.

What a beautiful home!! I would recommend to anyone visiting Amelia Island. The home is a short distance from the beach and the historic downtown. A gem in beautiful Fernandina Beach


We feel so fortunate to have found this perfect “home away from home” for an extended beach vacation. From the welcoming owners and neighborhood to the astonishing level of cleanliness and well stocked and beautifully renovated home it was almost surprising as we have rented so often in Fl and have always had some sort of issue
not so here. The things that are important to us, clean and comfortable beds and furniture, updated kitchen w/everything you would ever need, access by bikes, car or walking to all this wonderful island has to offer
all here! But in addition you get so much room in house and yard (we did roast marshmallows in the fire pit), beautiful bathrooms, bar closet with every glass imaginable, theater size TV (bring your fire stick for great experience) - I could go on and on
as you can assume at this point we had an “over the moon” comfortable stay and will be coming back for certain!!!

Family beach getaway

My family of 6, varying in age from 32 to 83 stayed in this adorable house for a week in October. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully furnished. We stayed just days after Hurricane Ian had hit, but had thankfully spared Amelia Island, and this lovely home. Everything was set up so nicely and it is so inviting! The beds were fantastic, I have never slept so well on vacation! All the appliances are new and we had no problems with any of them. The few very minor issues/questions we had were answered very quickly from the wonderful hosts. The location is fantastic for quick and easy access to the beaches and downtown. There are so many things to do, we will need to come back to get to see and do everything. Main Beach ended up being our favorite because of the location and ease of access for our mobility challenged family members. I can’t say enough good things about this place! If I were to buy a house on Amelia Island, this would be it! Thanks for sharing your lovely home and wonderful hospitality with us!

Not enough stars

We're giving this property a five-star rating for one reason: because we can't give it six! Amazing doesn't begin to describe our experience this past week. Photos are nice, but what they can’t show is the hospitality of the property owners. Cheryl and Dan bent over backward and made it right when a Vrbo filter hiccup erroneously listed their property for us. What a happy mistake it was! Photos can’t show that sort of kindness. As for the property, we were impressed. Take the kitchen for example. Oodles of table settings, pots and pans, even spices, a toaster, and so much more filled the cupboards. Oh, and let’s not forget to mention sweeteners (of all varieties), creamers, and a stocked Keurig. The fridge is nothing short of cavernous! The washer and dryer are absolutely huge! The dishwasher runs like a dream. There’s more – but I don’t want to spoil the surprises in store as you explore this wonderful house. Yes, we give it five stars – but grudgingly as it certainly deserves more!
