If you are looking for a 100% pet free home that is actually CLEAN, well appointed, with comfortable beds, and SPECTACULAR views, then you found it! Our guests agree because they keep coming back. 300+ 5 star reviews say it all.

This charming property offers direct access to pristine sandy shores and stunning ocean views, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and rejuvenation. The spacious deck is perfect for soaking in the coastal breeze, whether you’re enjoying your morning coffee or unwinding as the sun sets. Inside, the home is thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. With a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living spaces, and beach-themed decor, “Surf’s Up” creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. Guests will appreciate the easy access to the beach and nearby local attractions, making this property a standout choice for a peaceful seaside retreat or a memorable family vacation.

Surf’s Up is an allergy friendly 100% pet free home. Please remember that many people are allergic to a variety of animals. It is extremely unfair to introduce a pet (or even a service animal) in a pet free home. Please do not jeopardize your vacation. Any animal found in or around this property is grounds for expedited eviction and forfeiture of all monies paid.

The house is located 2.8 miles north of the Surf City bridge or 5.5 miles south of the Sneads Ferry bridge. Heading north, it is just past the Surf City line in North Topsail Beach. Enjoy all of the peaceful surroundings on this quiet, dead end street.

Linens and much more are provided. Bath towels, hair dryer, bed sheets, quilts & blankets for the beds, pillows, kitchen linens, paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, napkins, garbage bags, hand soap, dish liquid, dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent will all be ready for you at the house. The sheets will be on the beds when you arrive so you can start relaxing right away! Just bring your clothes, beach towels and personal items.

We are able to provide this exceptional level of service and attention to detail because we live here on the island, just a few miles away. The maintenance, cleaning & rental of Surf's Up is our full time job. We are always available to answer questions, address any issues and help in any way.

To maintain the home and assure that it is clean and comfortable for all to enjoy NO PETS ARE ALLOWED and there is NO SMOKING OR VAPING permitted inside.

Becky's place was absolutely perfect. The view from the living room and deck were stunning. The 6 steps to the sand and not overly crowded beach made for a very relaxing few days. Everything inside the house was clean and well stocked (basics). The king bed was very comfortable. We drove all the way from Nebraska, but this place was worth it.

My husband and I had an amazing week at Surf’s Up cottage. The owner takes great care in maintaining this wonderfully clean, well organized house. The kitchen was well equipped with good pots and pans and casserole dishes. Paper products, including extra trash bags, were readily available. The chairs on the porch were balcony height, and perfect for beach gazing. The beds were most comfortable. Excellent linens/towels were provided. One thing we greatly appreciated was the Spectrum cable access. Sometimes the local news and MeTV is nice to have without having to sign in to a streaming channel. We really enjoyed our stay, and hope to be able to return again.

Awesome Porch

We were at Surf's Up during an extreme heat wave. The covered porch was awesome since it was too hot to be on the beach most of the day. The a/c couldn't quite keep up. When we notified the owners, they immediately took action and lined up two HVAC companies to check the a/c. Everyone was dealing with the extreme heat, so the technicians couldn't come that day. The owners bought a portable a/c unit, a super fan to push air down the hallway and two box fans. They set it all up and we proceeded to cool the house down. Lucky us, the HVAC company came over that evening and fixed the problem. We couldn't have asked for a better response from the owners.

Heaven on Earth!

We had a wonderful time at Surf's Up -- great location, perfect weather. The house was immaculate and exactly as described on VRBO. Becky was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We definitely recommend Surf's Up!

Nice place/bad weather

It was a nice little area. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Becky, the owner kept in contact with us. The weather was horrible, however, we found the Salty Turtle and had a great time. It is a small island area, but there are plenty of places to eat that were amazing. The people were all very friendly.

Just Book It!

Our stay at Surf’s Up was unreal! The location and views were second to none and it was literally the cleanest beach house ever. It being only a few steps to the beach was especially convenient for my 79 year old mother-in-law. When we weren’t on the beach, we enjoyed sitting on the deck where we could watch the sunrise, dolphins and pelicans. The location of the outdoor shower made it easy to keep the house clean. The owner, Becky, is welcoming and makes herself available to you should you have questions or need anything. This was our first time visiting Topsail Island so we asked her for recommendations ahead of time - her list of restaurants and the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center did not disappoint. If you’re looking to stay at the cleanest oceanfront home on Topsail Island that will accommodate 6 people, look no further
