Beautiful home!
This is a beautiful home in a beautiful place. The development is very nice with wonderful amenities. The home is very quiet on the interior. It is the last home at the end of the street and is adjacent to the boarder wall. On the other side of the wall is a loud barrio with barking dogs, crowing roosters, kids banging things, music cranked up into the night, etc. Most of our family has lived in foreign countries in the tropics and found the noise of the barrio comforting. If you try and sit on the back patio at times, it is loud at times. But, just a few homes away, it is quiet. When you go to the pool or lap pool, it is quiet. It is quiet inside the house for the most part. Carlos is very responsive and was very helpful once we got connected. The home owner, not so much... Some additional details from the home owner when you book the home would be nice (what to expect, who will give you details about access, connection with Carlos, confirmation of your rental approval, etc.). The price was very reasonable. The beds were similar to futon's in comfort and the pillows were thin. But again, the home was very nice as was the community. I would also add that you are within a very short drive to shopping, restaurants, groceries, etc. An hour drive north to catch a boat do Tortuga (highly recommend) and an hour drive south to Manuel Antonio. We enjoyed the hike to the Italian ruins and the sunset on top on one of the mountains if you go inland from Playa Hermosa.
