It was perfect for our two night girls trip! The location was great and the view of the lake was lovely. The beds were comfy and our Host was so helpful, communicative and responsive to any of our questions! We were given great tips about dining and things to do and we all agreed that we can’t wait to return one day soon!

This is a beautiful home with a stunning view at the end of a “long and winding road” within the Big Canoe resort. The accommodations were perfect for my 3 friends and myself. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses and flatware, along with cutting boards and pots/pans if you plan cook your own meals. However, there are some excellent restaurants in Jasper and Marble Hill. The beds and linens were very comfortable and the bedrooms dark, promoting some good sleep! Stock up on fire logs before arriving tho, as there are two fireplaces that are waiting to create a cozy ambiance in chilly weather, along with soft throws to warm you up! Situated between Ellijay and Dahlonega, we were close enough to enjoy hiking, shopping and wineries (Roo!). Kelly was very responsive when we had a little trouble figuring out the thermostat
but after following her instructions, we had no further issues. If this sounds like what you are looking for, you can’t go wrong with this house.

We had an incredible stay in Big Canoe in this home. We had a variety of families staying with us as we were in town for a youth sporting event and there was plenty of room and separate spaces for us to enjoy ourselves individually or as a group. There were many outdoor patios with plenty of seating and amazing views over the lake. When we visit the area again we will definitely stay here!

House was well appointed with wonderful lake view. The beds were comfortable and showers were great. We loved the easy entry to the home for unloading and loading. Hosts were easy to communicate with and provided perfect instructions. I would love to stay at this house again.

We had a great time at Big Canoe. We make it to Big Canoe 2-3 times a year and this was one of our favorite rentals. We had 6 in our group and had plenty of room. The property was very well maintained and well stocked with the basic essentials. This was a great house and I would absolutely stay here on my next next trip if it’s available.

Great view and location

We enjoyed our mini family golf trip and felt rifht at home. Everyone had their own space and bathrooms and well equipped kitchen was a plus!Grill needs some updated parts but we were able to use with foil.Will definitely book again we when return to BC

Heaven in the woods.

Great place, great views, well stocked and very clean. Excellent view of small lake and golf course out the back. They have an excess of pollen this season and deck was full of pollen. But very quit and off the beaten path. Not to far from town.

Great house in nice location

The layout of this house was great for our family (parents with 4 adult kids and a grandbaby) as it essentially has 2 master suites. The house was very clean and well-stocked. The patio was a bit dusted with pollen, but that’s to be expected in Georgia in April. Lovely neighborhood. We just wished Big Canoe was walkable. The hostess did let us know this ahead of time, but it bears mentioning for those who are hoping to walk outside and hop on a trail. You’ll need to drive to a trailhead first. Overall 5

This house was perfect for 5 of us to get away and play bridge. They even had a card table and chairs! It was just as pictured and was very clean. Great communication with the owner and we will definitely rent it again.

Beautiful property

House was extremely clean, all the linens smelled like fresh laundry. The house had a great layout and very spacious. The big windows with the view of the lake were incredible. Check-in and out was a breeze. I will definitely recommend this property and we are already planning to be back soon.

Family Christmas trip

My family and I completely enjoyed our stay in Big Canoe. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. The entire home was clean, with the exception of a few stray hairs in the linen/towels that didn't belong to us. The view was breathtaking and the location was second to none. The entire process was flawless and we would love to visit again in warmer weather.

Wedding Weekend

Perfect stay for our daughter’s wedding weekend. Owners are extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. We cooked dinner one evening and the home/kitchen is well equipped and very clean. Lovely setting

I rented this home for my mother and niece while I stayed at a near by home. We were in Big Canoe for a family wedding. The minute we walked in to get them settled in, we saw the view of the lake. We all were in awe of the beautiful setting. The home itself is nicely decorated and so comfortable. Just sit back and relax. I highly recommend this property. I plan to rent this home again on my next visit to Big Canoe. Thanks for everything!
