Villa 255 Getty Building

This is a beautiful, 3 bedroom 2 bath Villa located in the oceanfront Villas by the Sea Resort. Walk among the oaks or take a short stroll to Driftwood beach. Children can enjoy the Pirate Ship playground and for adults there is a fitness room. When you need to cool off there is a pool for the adults and one for the kiddies. The resort offers a full restaurant and lounge.

As you enter our villa you will find an open plan living room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. There is a sliding door that leads to a balcony. We have wood flooring throughout. There is a bedroom on the first floor with a queen size bed, TV and an attached bath with a shower only. On the second level you will find 2 bedrooms -- one bedroom has a king bed, TV, and an attached private balcony; the 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds and a TV. On this level there is also a shared hall bathroom.

THIS UNIT IS NOT PET FRIENDLY.

Linens are provided with this unit, as well as a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and some personal amenity items. These items will not be replenished during your stay.
Villas by the Sea has 3 coin-operated laundry rooms accessible with your key cards.

PLEASE NOTE:
Nearest Beach Boardwalk Crossover: Driftwood Beach only. Hurricane Helene damaged the stairs providing access to the lower beach and water at low tide for all Villas By The Sea Boardwalks. Direct beach access from the Villas by the Sea is not available at this time.

Love Jekyll

We go to Jekyll twice a year but normally stay further south on the island in a hotel. We had friends with us so wanted a communal space and chose villas by the sea. Good location although a bit further out from amenities than usual, closer to driftwood beach though and the restaurant Jekyll & Tide was amazing (we ate there both nights for dinner). We’d definitely stay here again if we go with friends

Beautiful Condo in Jekyll Island

This condo was very nice. Everything we needed and great location. Perfect set up on the ocean for a great view of the sunrise that is walking distance from condo. Would recommend and stay at again.

Nice time!

Nice time with family even with the rain. Clean and like what pictures/descriptions of the property. Some suggestions that maybe will be helpful in the kitchen: hand towels and hot plates and blankets in the living room as it’s getting cold! Also WiFi access wasn’t communicated clearly but the host is easily accessible! Overall stay is very good!

Great location, but smells like mold and mildew

The address wasn’t provided to us in any communication, but when I called the company they answered and quickly gave it to me. It’s a nice older community and our unit was located directly across from a restaurant which was nice. When I opened the door I was met with that familiar mold and mildew smell. It permeated the unit. Since we checked in late and didn’t have anywhere else to go, we dealt with it. The problem was my daughter is sensitive to mold and mildew and was up all night sneezing and coughing and didn’t sleep. We were charged a ridiculously high cleaning fee, so when we walked in a saw dried pee on the floor and back splash of the toilet rim, and when we saw hairs in the bed, I was a bit miffed. I have to pay a high cleaning fee but I don’t get a clean place. Be prepared to bring things such as coffee filters, salt, cooking spray, etc. you’ll have to guess on the coffee filters because it’s not listed anywhere. Those things are not expensive and would have been nice to have. It’s the little things that add up. Had the unit not smelled, been actually clean, and the tv remote in the master bedroom actually worked, I would have been able to rate it at least a 4.

Jekyll island summer conference Vacation

The property was great and convenient to a lot of things. Enjoyed our stay. Only thing I wish they had was more kid friendly locks on doors. My toddler locked himself in one of the rooms and didn’t have a viable key to get him out.
