Lovely Spot!

We loved our stay at the Monochrome. It was very quaint, perfect size, very comfortable, and magical view! The owner was so helpful and easy to reach. The place is modern and well appointed. Very cozy, and a great spot!

Perfect getaway house!

Peaceful and beautiful!

I loved this place. It has beautiful views and it's quiet. The kitchen is well-stocked and the bathroom has the feel of a luxury hotel. At first, I was concerned that there was no 'safe' place to walk my dog because there are sticklers everywhere that lodge in a dog's fur and paws, BUT right next to the property, there's a stickler-free dirt pathway (10 minutes one direction) where you can walk a dog. Highly recommend!

The Monochrome House was perfect for our stay in JT! Great little house - well designed, comfortable, quality & thoughtfulness throughout. We have two 5 star Vrbos so understand what a difference special personal touches mean to the guest.

The Monochrome House

We had such a gorgeous stay here - we were truly sorry to leave. The property is so lovely, with so much attention to detail, and is ideally situated. We watched sunrise and sunset from the porch each day, and the park was just up the road so we were able to have several runs and hikes during our stay. Everything was lovely, from the quality of the bed linen, to the quantity of towels provided. There was even loose leaf jasmine tea, my favourite! I couldn’t recommend the property enough - both my husband and I hope we get a chance to stay there again.

Perfect getaway for 2

Myself and my fiancée loved our stay at the monochrome! It was the perfect place to stay after spending the day hiking in Joshua Tree! Great location right by the west entrance of the park, and you can quickly shoot down to town if you need anything. The house was spotless and well appointed!

Great stay close to Joshua Tree National Park!

Had one small issue where the bathroom door was closed and locked when we arrived, but the host was very responsive and we figured it out. Property was very clean and modern. Only complaint was the floor to ceiling windows face the main road to/from the park, so headlights shine directly onto the bed if you don’t pull down the outside curtain down! Otherwise, great rental and we loved our time there!

Perfect getaway

This house is in a perfect location, right near the entrance to the park and town. Beautiful property and the huge glass doors made for the most beautiful sunrise view when we woke up. We'll be back!

Great place

We had a great time. Close to Joshua tree National park where we spent most of our time hiking and enjoying the beauty of it all. We got to see a pack of coyotes in the wash just outside from the patio. Clean, cozy and comfortable.
