This Premium 1-Bedroom, 2-Bath ocean view condo located in Tower 1 on the 4th floor, is beautifully remodeled throughout. Enjoy a gourmet kitchen that is fully appointed with elegant granite counters and top rated appliances. A comfortable and spacious living room with a comfy sofa that converts to a Queen sleeper; plus a beautiful dining area for a family of four. The Master bedroom has a luxurious King bed with ensuite Master bathroom, which is equipped with a washer and dryer. The second remodeled bathroom is located off of the kitchen area. Imagine sitting on your spacious lanai overlooking the manicured resort grounds and incredible ocean views. You will be within walking distance to shopping and restaurants at Whaler's Village located right next to the resort. Plus, only steps away from great snorkeling, surfing, swimming and even the world famous Black Rock. This unit has become a favorite with our guests that return to the Whaler year after year. Come enjoy this very special gem in Maui's favorite ocean front resort!

All condos at The Whaler feature full kitchens, full baths, central air conditioning, wi-fi and a large lanai (balcony).

In addition, this home includes a complimentary "Starter Kit" of supplies, upon arrival: Paper towels, garbage bags, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, new kitchen sponge with scrubber; several rolls of toilet tissue, kleenex, hotel-size bar soap, shampoo, and lotion. **Please note that the starter kit items are not replenished. We do not provide daily maid service, however it can be added for an additional cost.

Check-in time is 4:00pm; Check-out 10:00am

Daily Resort Fee: $35/day plus tax. This covers parking and all resort amenities and is payable upon arrival at the front desk.

***Our minimum stay is 4 nights and 7 nights during the Christmas/New Years holiday. However, we may approve shorter stays if they back up to an existing reservation. We will do our best do accommodate you.

Loved the view disappointed in the size

The one thing this unit has is a good view of the ocean. We were able to see lots of whales and even a submarine. The size of the unit Is advertised as room for 4. It is very tight. I don't believe it is big enough for for adults to adequately have privacy. It might be nice to have an umbrella along with the beach equipment. We enjoyed the unit,it's location ,and the pool. Everyone we dealt with were very professional.

WONDERFUL PLACE TO RELAX IN PARADISE

We love this unit and the great location. The beach is great for walking, snorkeling and just relaxing. A short walk to shopping and food. A short drive to Lahaina and north shore beaches. We love staying at The Whaler.

Great Stay

The unit was definitely in line with other premium properties we have used at the Whaler. What was exceptional was the complimentary cleaning mid-stay because we booked for two weeks. We appreciate in-suite laundry, the ability to cook for ourselves, the ability to control AC. There was a nearby renovation going on, but the disruption was minimal. The waves, the sunsets, the location were why we return time after time. It was a great stay!

Save this one!!!

We had an incredible stay here! The condo is completely updated and just beautiful. The lanai is huge and gives perfect views of the sunrise over the mountains and sunset over Kaanapali beach. It’s in the perfect location, completely walkable to whalers village and black rock. We will DEFINITELY be saving this condo for our returns to Maui in the future. đŸ€—

Best place to stay on Kaanapali!

I can't say enough positive things about this rental. It was spacious, luxurious, comfortable, spotless and had everything you could possibly need in a home. As previous reviewers have written, the lanai (balcony) is an extra bonus because it gets sunlight pretty much all day so you can relax and sunbathe on your own without having to go to the beach. This is a luxury condo and well worth the price. The resort was fantastic, in a perfect location on the beach, and an easy walk to other resorts, restaurants and shops should you want to do so. I will absolutely be back and staying here next time!

The PERFECT condo with PLENTY of room!

What an incredible stay in this unit! It was our first time staying at The Whaler and from the moment we arrived, everything was smooth sailing. The unit itself is totally updated and very clean/spacious. The deck is unbelievable! Really spacious too and had awesome views of the courtyard bridge/fountain and beach/ocean. One of our favorite things about this unit (and Tower 1 facing this direction) is you get sun most of the day so if you want to relax outside on your deck and grab some sun you can. Or cool off in the perfectly air conditioned/temp controlled unit. The kitchen offered tons of storage space and had a lot of the basics needed for cooking (like salt/pepper, etc.) The fridge and freezer were really nice and we especially LOVED the drinking water from inside the fridge - so much more convenient than having to buy bottled waters for the week. Master bed was super comfy and having the extra bathroom was great. Only small complaint we'd have is the washing machine...pretty small and didn't wash our clothes as well as we hoped - but that was such a minimal need anyway. We are already looking to reserve this unit again. And just from peeking at other units that had doors open on our floor, ours was by far the nicest/most up-to-date. Highly recommend! (We stayed afterwards at The Andaz Hotel in Wailea and the expensive room didn't even compare to this condo unit - that says a lot.) If this unit isn't available, strongly recommend Tower 1 facing the courtyard at minimum so you're in more sunlight vs. the shaded/darker sides.

Gorgeous condo. Perfect location.

Mostly superlatives for this property. A gem. We’ve stayed at the Whaler several times before and this is one of the best units we’ve seen. The only significant negative was the sleeper sofa’s mattress. It was one of the least confortable we've Experienced in 20 years of travel. Adults would NOT be able to sleep in the sofa bed comfortably. Little kids maybe. Also problematic but less of an issue was the microwave-built-in vent above the stove that did not work well at all but we have experienced the same problem with a great number of such vents throughout our travels. Overall, a near perfect stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful renovation

The unit is gorgeous. High-end finishes and excellent, maximized use of the space over the original floor plan. The fold out bed is not in keeping with the other furnishings and my adult grandchildren camped out on the floor, rather than sleep on the uncomfortable bed. The kitchen is unbelievably elegant, well appointed and spacious. Love the cabinetry. Had trouble finding the refrigerator, but WOW what a great appliance. The washer and dryer were a bit hard to figure out, but were such a lovely amenity. I would have liked some larger pans, especially a large skillet, and placemats. I found the lighting imaginative, but a bit challenging to figure out. Overall, the nicest unit we've stayed in roughly 20 times at The Whaler.

Great unit at the Whaler

Great one bedroom condo at the Whaler with a well supplied kitchen. The bed was really comfortable with extra pillows available. The unit had nice smart tvs as well and having two bathrooms is great. Balcony has perfect views of the grounds, pool and ocean and allows for al fresco dining. If I had minor complaints it would be for more beach gear to use in the unit which I've seen in other units and a more comfortable couch and chairs in living room. Overall a great unit and one we will likely use in the future if we come back.

Nicely updated and even nicer views

It was just my girlfriend and I so the condo was a great size for us. We had a nice view to the ocean and everything we needed for the week. The large TV was great for the opening weekend of college football! Close to shops, beach and eating. Less than 100 yards to it all! There is construction at The Whaler (which we knew and was explained) but also at Whalers Village, so good luck being on the lanai during work hours without noise. Also, I was a bit unsure if someone was supposed to come and clean our room or not as I thought that happened at 11am or when you put the "service please" note on the door. Didn't happen. Either way, both of those issues were really minor and the unit was amazing and relaxing. I will be back! Thanks!
