We were so impressed with this unit! I had debated between this one and an upper one and am so glad we chose this as our children loved running in and out outside and having the grass area to play on as well as the pool (gated) right across as well was such a bonus! It was just the perfect setup for our multi family stay! Everyone commented how nice this villa was and it was meticulously cleaned/maintained. KBM checked on us and even came out to swap a toaster that didn’t work and replace a lightbulb day of they were great to work with. This villa a resort setup truly exceeded expectations all around. We will miss it!

Amazing for families

We loved our 8 day stay here. The house is immaculate and big enough for a group of 7. We had 2 4 year olds and 5 adults and grilled out the entire time. Location is superb - close to everything. 1st floor is ideal for toddlers so you can use the yard. We will definite be back.

Wonderful West Maui Villa

This property was a wonderful fit for our extended family. Between the separate sleeping areas and suites, the wonderful deck and seating inside and out, this was a perfect solution for the six of us. Being able to drive right up to the villa, access to the garage and additional parking, and having access to beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, plus a well-equipped kitchen made for a great stay. The villa is in walking distance of food trucks, groceries and is well situated within West Maui for dinning and shopping options.

such a disappointment

we arrived to a location with no AC and no wifi. considering this was summer in hawaii it made for a very uncomfortable stay. despite several attempts to resolve the situation we were left neglected. this was a very very expensive stay and it was very upsetting to have our family reunion be very uncomfortable with no AC. for this price the customer service should have been more accommodating.

Overall a nice property and location. These were some of the inconveniences we ran into: missing dishwasher detergent, only one roll of paper towels, only two garbage bags, two door handles were loose, one door handle completely fell off, the bathroom spigot was broken and shower head did not work, and no SmartTVs (i.e. Netflix, Hulu, Disney+). Most of the items were eventually by the hotel services.

This property is exactly as described, beautiful, clean and supplied with everything you need for a perfect vacation. The villa comes with beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, and everything you need to cook in. The host is very responsive if you have a request and the resort has towels for pool and beach! We recently stayed at this property and absolutely loved every minute of it! The location is perfect…close to everything we wanted to do. Being on the lower level was great because we utilized the outdoor patio everyday, used the pool/hot tub and dined in most evenings. The atmosphere was very relaxing and quiet and the kitchen was excellent for cooking. We had plenty of space and it was really our home away from home! The management staff was super accommodating and took really good care of us while we were there! I highly recommend this location and know that if and when we return to Maui…..we will be back!! Property was amazingly clean and had very thing we needed for our family vacation. Amenities are well maintained and easily accessible. The toiletries provided were high end. Pleasantly surprised to find my favorite L’Occitane lotion. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Honua Kai Villas Top-Notch!

Property was well appointed, modern, clean and spacious for our two families. The pictures and description are very accurate. The villas were really amazing - top-notch. The customer service was terrific. When we arrived, the staff was very attentive and accommodating with our needs and answering questions we had about navigating Maui. The resort is close to old town Lahaina (10 min) and Kapalua Bay (10 min). Grocery stores and Whaler's Village were in close proximity too. Perfect location to good eats, pool/hot tub, beach, and things to do. This was a first time visit to Honua Kai resort. We really enjoyed our stay and had great memories of the trip. We will definitely book with KBM again!!!
